I have the MicroFreak and the MiniFreakV, and I agree with the sentiment: "Anything you make sounds cool". this thing does not have an unsweet spot, everything sounds good.
oh,...And one must admit that it is probably one of the most powerful and fun Performance synths (minus a few keys ;) ) ever made. being able to assign mod amounts to the macros on the hw definite shot this into overdrive
