You’re spot on about the quality and value of the food in Vietnam. We took our teenage family for a month in August 2022 and although getting there was expensive, we lived like kings all month, including diving trips and excursions. I calculated the total cost including airfares, accommodation,eating out, taxis and excursions, to be the equivalent of two weeks in Greece for our family of four. We fell in love with the people, the scenery, the culture and the food. We’re planning our trip back in 2024 as both kids finish exams in June, meaning we can stretch our budget further by taking advantage of the cheaper airfares.
