Later in the movie the men get strength from just remembering and shouting Baahubalis name, during the lifting of the Golden statue of Bhallaladeva.

Also, the stone that he's carrying is very pious and represents shiva. What he's doing by lifting and breaking the stone would be literally akin to blasphemy in other religions. (Hinduism has no concept of blasphemy.) His slow motion walk with sanskrit chants describing Lord shiva is a really really powerful scene. It hints at the fact that this is not a normal human. He lifted the entire shivalinga on his shoulders.

I don't understand how so many people don't get the baby survival scene at the beginning. The woman drowned herself all while her hand stayed straight holding up the baby. After some time, her body would have gone stiff and that's how she sacrificed herself for the baby to live. Now, does it seem unrealistic and like something that probably would require a lot of luck? Yes, that's why the whole dialogue with Lord shiva. It's supposed to be a miracle.

This movie was made with respect to Indian sensiblities and know-hows of the epics told in every household so people already know what the bloodline of Bahubali denotes when they look at the emblem of the empire, hence it was never explained. This story was inspired from epics in the Jain Tradition, Though the story is quite different from the epic.

Let me explain some information that you might have missed. When bahubali jnr went to save his mom devasena, devesena recognized him cause he looked like his dad. But it took sometime for katapa to realize who he was because when they were fighting each other, his face was muddy. The rain cleared his face and when he turned around, katapa could finally see the face of bahubali jnr and that’s how he recognized and of course because he looked so much like the king bahubali. Also the king bahubali’s father died of disease and his mom died due to complications during the delivery of the king bahubali and then queen shivagami (the mom of our villain) decided to nurture the king bahubali like his son. I can understand it might be little bit confusion for western viewers, but Part 2 is even more epic and the story becomes very catchy. Also all the songs in this movie and in bahubali 2 are imaginations or fantasies. Great reaction!

Part 2 is more intense in story and drama. Overall story wise bahubali is bigger canvass than RRR. You will also get to know why did kattapa kill Bahubali. But please remember the introduction scene of Katappa which explains half of the reason

When you watch Rajamouli movies and understood the logic...you need to observe every minute details also just like james cameroon movies..everything happening has some reason linked to story 1) Shivudu lifting God statue shows he has some natural strength than normal humans 2)Shiva has mud on his face thats why when katappa is fighting with him he cant recognize him later due rain the mud slowly falling down from his face and when he turn the mud completely gone...since his face is clear he recognized him 3)Villian didnot casually fought with that bull 😂 There were two reasons behind that a) to show villian also has super strength b) He used those bulls in Bahubali 2 climax there you will know why that bull scene shown in the movie... 4)when they shown the dynastic intro they showed the huge scale of kingdom and the bad king nature since they are looting money from people in the name of taxes...its like metaphore to bad king...

Katappa can't break his oath that's why no matter how harsh it is he obeys the royal command And the queen mother never said that the one killed the enemy will be next king ...she remain silent on the topic but never properly agreed on it Advice- while watching Indian movies please read the subtitles carefully and don't miss any (same goes for any other language) otherwise you can't enjoy or understand

Katappa did not wanted to be free. It is actually the opposite. He wanted to remain a slave because he was loyal to the kingdom. When the dictator granted him a wish, katappa asked if he can free Devsena to fulfill that wish. Then the bad guy gave him the sword to kill her and ‘free her’ that way which of course Katappa did not want.
Baahubali is not her real son and he is hers husbands brother ( big baahubali s who died ) son and at the time of birth bahubali mother also died ... And ballala Deva is hers real son... Balla always wanted king because his father (who is elder than... baahubali s father. ) was unable to become king because of his disability.... Previously..baahubali father is king but he was died when baahubali was born.... .. so baahubali has no mother and father... Ballas mom raised both hers ( ballala Deva the BAD guy) and her husband's brother son ( bahubali) raised equally

Basically Indian method of sword making is different. Ancient Indians mixed carbon in the iron while making swords. And they made sword by beating and folding method. That's why Indian sword is brittle. And it cannot bend like Japanese katana or any other sowrd. Also it can break easily if not used properly.

Okay If I remember, the main King have 2 children. There are two brothers, the elder one is handicapped, the younger one is made the king of Mahishmati because he had a kind heart. The King (who is the younger brother) passed, his wife gave birth to Amrendra Bahubali but died after giving birth, the older brother who is handicapped has a wife called Shivgami, she protects the throne from any outsider or non royal blood trying to grab the seat of the king after the death of the king, godmother shivgami has a son called Bhalaldev(who is power hungry), but she says both the babies are now my sons, and both have the right to become the king. Generation 2: 😅😂 In the second generation, Amrendra Bahubali married a princes called Devsena, the son of Amrendra Bahubali is called Mahendra bahubali who looks exactly like him, there have been many movies in india with that weird concept that both the father and the son are played by the same actor😅. The Son of Bhalaldev (Amrendra's cousin) is called Bhadraa (who's head goes on a toss 🧔🏻♂). Kattappa who works for the king or the godmother is called uncle by Amrendra Bahubali and becomes like a godfather to Mahendra Bahubali. For understanding the romance w atch a v ideo by soch by mohak mangal on what is w rong with telugu films 😅😁 There is a lot of overthe top action too but that has always been a thing in south indian films. Alright, I've watched a lot of reactions to this movie, but this one has to be in the top 3! You're honest, hilarious, and wayyyyyyyyyyyy more observant than any other reactors... I cant wait for part 2! Also, I think you've got something wrong - Kattappa never asked Bhallaladeva (the dictator) to free him. See, he would never do that, as he would never break the promise that his elders made to the throne of Maheshmati. He knows that he can never be free from serving the throne, so he asked Bhallaladeva to free Devasena - but he refused, obviously. So Kattappa kinda HAS to do what the king says, and that includes killing some random guy who's attacking the prince. Also, yeah, it was the prince, the king's son who died, not the king.
We had waited to find the answer of the same question of you "why Kattapa kills Bahubali ??? " but you have no reason to wait.... quickly watch second part of this movie to know the answer 😂😂😂

Katappa did not wanted to be free. It is actually the opposite. He wanted to remain a slave because he was loyal to the kingdom. When the dictator granted him a wish, katappa asked if he can free Devsena to fulfill that wish. Then the bad guy gave him the sword to kill her and ‘free her’ that way which of course Katappa did not want.

Okay If I remember, the main King have 2 children. There are two brothers, the elder one is handicapped, the younger one is made the king of Mahishmati because he had a kind heart. The King (who is the younger brother) passed, his wife gave birth to Amrendra Bahubali but died after giving birth, the older brother who is handicapped has a wife called Shivgami, she protects the throne from any outsider or non royal blood trying to grab the seat of the king after the death of the king, godmother shivgami has a son called Bhalaldev(who is power hungry), but she says both the babies are now my sons, and both have the right to become the king.

In the second generation, Amrendra Bahubali married a princes called Devsena, the son of Amrendra Bahubali is called Mahendra bahubali who looks exactly like him, there have been many movies in india with that weird concept that both the father and the son are played by the same actor😅. The Son of Bhalaldev (Amrendra's cousin) is called Bhadraa (who's head goes on a toss 🧔🏻♂). Kattappa who works for the king or the godmother is called uncle by Amrendra Bahubali and becomes like a godfather to Mahendra Bahubali.

Also, I think you've got something wrong - Kattappa never asked Bhallaladeva (the dictator) to free him. See, he would never do that, as he would never break the promise that his elders made to the throne of Maheshmati. He knows that he can never be free from serving the throne, so he asked Bhallaladeva to free Devasena - but he refused, obviously. So Kattappa kinda HAS to do what the king says, and that includes killing some random guy who's attacking the prince. Also, yeah, it was the prince, the king's son who died, not the king.
