Meshuggah enlarged as fuck the boundaries of metal., far beyond former schemes. They showed there are TRILLIONS way to refresh and push forward the genre. Car Bomb are intellectuals, they immediately learned and embodied the lesson, as full-fledged genius artists, and are showing us, step by step, why metal not only is not dead, but it became a leader in music evolution. Words cannot describe how I love this band. They are the future.
Exactly! I've known for years that these guys will be my favorites once Meshuggah calls it quits. Would love to see them both tour together before too long
Never done it. But I absolutely love carbomb while tripping. The first I was introduced to them was from my brothers from another mother jordan and Kyle. I was on 2 doses and bumps of k around the peak. Some would say you wont hear the same. But hell no I've had many good moments carbomb. But yea a translator.
Poser...lol hell yea to ayahuasca..but before this use to listen to into the moat, ion dissonance, war form a harlots mouth, Sawthooth grin and bands alike and I can dance circles around people to this.. you just didnt get with the program before hand. People might as well not even admit that or they're coming out the poser closet to be honest just saying...
The best song on the album I reckon PS - This album fucking rules. I think this is by far the best album they have done. I started listening to these guys in 2008 and they just keep getting better. I wanna just meet all the guys in the band and give them each a minute-long hug for this masterpiece of an album. Every song is an absolute banger
1:18 that strangely dark melancholic nostalgia like being in a dream and looking into the white light shining through windows you cant see through. it reminds me of like silent hill in the hospital where theres this fog outside and the light from the window is glaringly bright its got this super dark texture but at the same time its somehow nostalgic like some sinner is reminiscing about the past or some shit that part is sooo coool!
Seeing 1:04-1:40 live last night in person blew my fucking mind. I was looking around me like, does anyone else realize how sick this drum part is? Unreal.
They paint a mental picture with music and lyrics! And the samples the use ! Oh what a grim picture it is! Certain noises have been known to creep people out and carbomb is the king of that !
will never forget hearing this for the first time on headphones with my eyes closed and reaching 3:20........just waiting for that drop like PLEASE TELL ME THERE IS MORE TO THE SONG AN--boom thank you very much
FUCK YEA BRUHBRUH been listening to them since 2009~* they are a truly important and underappreciated band. i just got a copy of Spooge's Nice and Warm (the drummer/bassist's first[?] band) on cassette and it's really interesting. You won't find much of side B from what i've looked for online but most if not all of side A is on youtube. check it out!!!!!
The best thing about car bomb is how they’ll take one musical statement and stretch it into a series of statements that connect in a sort of ominous way
For people that cant keep up with this style of music culture..you simply just didnt get with the program with other bands like this too..its totally predictable and followable.. equip yourself with odd measures, progression mindset, sub genre lucidity, quick change speed adaptability, and accent culture and you won't get lost even if you've never heard the song in mathcore community. Fyi I can dance sadomasochistic circles around people like you. Admitting that you're lost doesn't make them seem wild but you look like a poser to be honest.

These guys remind me of Meshuggah crossed with a Zach Hill project, like Hella or something.
I'll have what you're having my friend

0:41 this crazy rhythm patterns makes me laugh
I feel like I might need a translator to comprehend Car Bomb. Like, Ayahuasca.

For real.
Every song is better than the one before. No matter what order you listen to them in
This is a very interesting, and surprisingly accurate, statement.
Best Description of what one may feel whilst listenng to the Kings of deplaced neckbraking
Babycakes
1:21 - So intense! Crazy polyrhythms along with the creepy-sounding, robotic, lo-fi, guitar cords.
so I wasn't the only one thinking the guitar is like dark lofi
@@iDoqz they meant more like Lofi quality although they do use distorted jazz chords sometimes so that is kinda lofi
Every song has some kind of machine failing sounds made on the guitar I goddamn love this
They remind me of Dali's melting clocks too
The best song on the album I reckon
PS - This album fucking rules.

best song ever? oh... wait I'm not through all songs of this record yet
Holy fucking shit, this album is more crazy than previous. How did you do that?
1:03 you're welcome for hearing the best fucking thing you ever did, starting now.
PRINTERCORE!!
Thanks! I forgot what it was like to have a scratched CD in my CD player was like!!

what's SSP? I wanna give it a listen lol
0:42 - 1:05 holy crap, and then everything after that is insane as well, I’m in awe everytime I listen to any song, flawless vicrory, literally
Thank you for the music
Is that just his pick sliding around at the end(plus all his unique effects?)?
Somebody please tell me whats going on there(drummer here).
Hunter Beveridge 3:21 is probably a dive with the bar and sounds like pick sliding with an octave pedal.
Hunter Beveridge at 3:40 there's def some octave pedal in there
Hunter Beveridge im a drummer as well lol started guitar not too long ago
Oh no I am getting into mathcore, soon My speech will be syncopated
entitys spoke to me through this tonight maybe god
I put this when i sleep costantly
dude the ending is nuts
I wonder what the guitar tuning is here. It seems extremely heavy.
Novaldex probably like drop F
I think it goes all the way down to C# on the last note
Ab-Eb-Ab-Db-F-Bb
Drop Ab on a six string. Just a metric ton of pitch shift
@@charmanfer nah the guitarist uses a baritone so pitch shifting isn’t even necessary as it can be tuned that low already.
your all right they're not meshuggah but they'll have to do till we have a new album
