I use a cameo to cut my memo, but I find that it doesn’t cut consistently no matter what setting I do! Does your cameo cut off parts of your images ? And I made my mat not sticky, but I still get residue on my paper from the mat. Does this happen to you to.?
Hi Joulie! Yes I got very frustrated with my Cameo for the very reason you're describing! It was so hard for me to sync up my Cameo to cut EXACTLY as outlined in the silhouette software. I ended up using a paper cutter or slicer that I mentioned in this video - and now I work with a manufacturer for my memo pads! To help with the Cameo, you can try setting up Registration Marks in the Silhouette Software for more accurate cuts if you have not tried this option yet. I found that this made an improvement for me, as well as adding print bleed on my designs. I heard that having bright lighting for the Cameo camera helps with accuracy as well, but I haven't tried that one myself. And for the mat, I think I used plain paper and laid it on the mat and removed it a couple of times to get rid of the stickiness, overtime it became less sticky. (I apologize for the lengthy response, I hope this helps!!)
