  • It’s OK to go back and read what you’ve written. If you’re feeling stuck or if you’ve forgotten what’s happened, going back and reading will help you move the story along. This advice is mainly for pantsers but it could help plotters, depending on your writing style. Overall just do whatever is best for your story no matter how long it takes. #authortips #writingadvice #writingcommunity #author #yaauthor

Time line, very important. Just an idea, and I'm not trying to mix movies with books. But, have you ever seen in movies where the words 6 months later or 1 year later or 10 years ago appears on the movie screen. How about months, for example September or seasons Fall or Autumn. It could also help with the opening of a chapter. The hot Summer sun, the cool Autumn air, budding leaves of Spring, Winter's cold chill. Then go on with description kids going to school. Beginning of the college academic new year. Yes, hun time line. Very important. I'm there 😊
