    Ingredients:
    • 1 cup Curd
    • 1 Onion
    • 1 Capsicum
    • 1 Tomato
    • 200 gm Paneer
    • 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
    • 1 tbsp Red chili powder
    • 1 tsp Garam masala
    • 1 tsp Cumin powder
    • 1 tsp Coriander powder
    • Salt to taste
    • 1 tsp Kasuri methi
    • Finely chopped Coriander leaves
    • 1 drop Red food color (Optional)
    • 1 tbsp Oil
    • 1/2 tbsp Corn flour
    • Coal
    • Ghee
    Method:
    • Place the skewers in a deep dish and pour water on it.
    • Soak them in water for at least an hour so that while using them for grilling on the gas or oven
    they won’t get damaged or catch fire. Make sure you don’t skip this step. P
    • lace a cotton cloth in a strainer and place that strainer on a pot.
    • Pour curd into the strainer and tie it tightly.
    • Rest it for about 30 minutes so that all the water will be drained from it.
    • Cut off the stem and root part of the onion and peel it.
    • Cut the onion into square pieces and separate the petals.
    • Cut the capsicum into 2 parts and remove the seeds. Cut it into square pieces.
    • Cut the tomato into 2 pieces and remove the seeds and pulp.
    • Cut it into square pieces.
    • You can use red capsicum in place of tomato.
    • Cut the paneer into big square pieces.
    • Make sure you don’t use malai paneer for making paneer tikka.
    • Take the hung curd out into a bowl and add ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, garam masala,
    cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, kasuri methi and coriander leaves.
    • Crush kasuri methi between your palms before adding.
    • Mix everything well together.
    • Add red food color, oil and corn flour and mix well.
    • Adding food color is optional. You can skip it if you don’t want.
    • You can use rice flour or besan in place of corn flour.
    • Add the paneer, onion, capsicum and tomato and coat it well with the curd mixture.
    • Cover and rest it for about 30 minutes to marinate.
    • Take the wooden skewers and insert capsicum, onion, tomato and paneer into it and repeat the
    sequence.
    • End up with capsicum, onion and tomato and make sure you leave some space at both the ends
    of the skewer.
    • You can grill the tikka in oven at 180 Deg C 0r 200 Deg C on grill mode.
    • Heat up a piece of coal on gas and add a little ghee on it.
    • When smoke begins to rise from it grill the skewers on it well from all sides.
    • Hold the skewer with pair of tongs from one side.
    • When paneer changes the color and little and outer cover turns crispy, turn the skewer and grill
    well from other side too.
    • You also can roast the tikka on a nonstick skillet too.
    • When the tikkA is almost grilled well from all sides, add a little ghee in the coal and grill the
    skewer well from all sides in that smoke.
    • Transfer it on a wire rack. Paneer tikka is ready.
