One of my favourite maps from episode 1, especially on repeated playthroughs. Great balance and doesn't restrict your ammo as much as the rest of the maps so it allows for looser play. Your reaction to the archviles was hilarious lol
The original was basically a hybrid of rocket launcher and plasma rifle. But it pushed the 486 computer to its limits and as they wanted it functional for 4 person multiplayer, they neeed something more efficient. However, why they decided to use the player as the origin for the blast vs the bfg ball, that is a mystery.
Worked for six years on hardware (GPU). Hardware bugs are soooo common. This was the key takeaway for me: hardware is only marginally less buggy than software.
I woke up at 9 and saw the notification. I started watching the video but I soon realized I was stull tired, too tired to pay adequate attention. I didn't want a repeat of yesterday's harassment, but I also need to live my own life, be my own man, make my own rules, suffer my own consequences. So I went back to sleep, and I slept for hours. Just like how So Bad always grabs the partial invisibility sphere; sometimes you have to do the wrong thing to make a point. That BFG seemed excessive for this map.

first also nice work on the rev horde... you do fight revs well i must admit.
So you did this live. Was it the entire wad in one go, or, 10 maps in a row, etc...
It's just whatever I can get through in one sitting. Usually about 7-9 maps per stream, depending on length.
