Stationary Rapid Fire LBG is Old School Cool, reminds me of Seregios LBG in 4u! loved watching this and definitely picking this one up and getting nostalgic.

Makes me excited for MR versions of Tarroth shot and support. The only thing those guns were used for was normal and both had pros and cons. Shot did more damage per volley and had higher raw, support had a larger clip size less recoil and cc ammos like sleep and para.
She mentioned "some dead space" in the description and I was like "What's she talking about??" Then, I saw her Taroth Blitz Support run on the same monster and I went "Ohh....that's what she meant". That TBlitz Support run was a flawless run. Shorter time, too. On Lightbreak Gun's defense, this is arguably the hardest lbg to wield in the entire game and even mai gets hit because of that. Still my favorite gun tho. It's an absolute beast in a controlled environment. Like Teostra quest "Day of Ruin". It destroys Teo.. 500+ dmg per volly on teo's face.
This LBG has so much wasted potential. It's damage with RF N3 is solid, but it's high recoil on top of it's tiny clip and forced slide reload makes it unbearable for me to use. Thank goodness MR KT is coming to finally save Normal LBG.
Can you build around this without playing Safi set bonus? I don't like to juggle my HP. Kinda comfy set if you don't worry bout speedruns but enough about short quest times.
Can we take a moment and talk about the new Safi and Brachydium sets' defense for a moment? 1065 defense is stupidly high! I get patch for consoles is supposed to raise armor defense cap and all, but come on, this is absurd, just think that in 4th gen 870 defense was considered VERY high with most grank sets being at around 750 fully upgraded or in 3U with 650 being considered extremely high with mixed DPS sets being at like 500-550! If they are raising the defense more and more, now to stupid amounts, we can all guess what's coming next, artificial difficulty out of the whazoo with ATs one shotting you with chip damage:/
Tbh defence is relative to the game You can have a crazy amount of defence and still get kicked by monsters because their attack value is higher In old MH you kinda get the same amount of damage you get here, even raw damage is off the chart in this monster hunter compared to the old ones, except maybe GU, so it's not that big deal when tempered monsters in the guiding lands with 960 def full safi still leave you with half hp with one hit
@@Fungilajr Not really true at all, just go play the older games and you'll see. For example, in 3U with 640-660 defense you can take like 4-5 attacks in general from Grank monsters before carting unless you are elementally weak to them. In 4U, unless doing endgame lv140 EDs/Apexes with 800 defense you can still take 3-4 attacks before carting. In World, endgame with ATs it only takes 1-2 hits most of the time even without their super moves! It's straight up artificial difficulty, give monsters a stupid amount of HP and attack to make the game "hard" instead of just making the AI better and monsters simply harder to flinch lock, no need to ATs to do like 60 damage just by touching you (not even actual attack, simply chip damage+flinch you).
@@tho_tho you're forgetting that AT are the equivalent of dlc super monsters of the old Monster Hunters If you go and play against a non tempered monster with 850 def you can take a lot of hits If you go and try on GU an hyper monster, a deviant, a super deviant or some EX ticket monsters like crimson fatalis or super Valstrax, a lot of times you can even get 1hko by some attack ATs are the equivalent of those monsters for tickets and new gear, so you can even get 1300 defence on World and against super monsters you get 1-2 hit and die like you died with 1-2 hit with 800 defence on GU against super monsters
@@Fungilajr First off, the damage formula has NOT changed ever since MH1 meaning that they just straight up increased monster damage, so with that out of the way, I'm not forgetting about supers, but even supers in 3U 3-shot you and 4U didn't actually have supers at all, so yeah... GU didn't have supers either, it had Hypers and just slightly powered up G rank stuff for events (which still didn't one-shot you even with ultimate moves like Valfalk's divebomb). Only exception to that in GU was White Fatalis and Crimson Fatalis but that's because they changed the mechanics of their breath attacks (eg: White's breath blasts ignore Guard Up and does increased damage depending on where you are standing), also, none of the things you mentioned got ridiculous health pools like ATs do (some high rank ATs have more HP than endgame EX Hyper deviants and those already had like triple the normal HP monsters have)! ATs on the other hand are straight up BAD, MOST of the damage I ever take from ATs is literally from chip damage, not attacks and it's annoying when chip damage 2-3 shots you with maxed out armor:/ It's the definition of artificial difficulty, they just give TONS of HP to monsters to make hunts longer and make them do stupid amounts of damage instead of making the AI harder to predict (aka proper difficulty)... Now that sets go past 1000defense we can all guess how scummy and one-shotting future ATs will be, Ruiner especially!
