Thank you for the great video. ❤ I did the math 😂 and it looks like they make about $4.67 per copy sold. It does look promising, but thinking of a new smart concept like the "I SPY..." books, and making a series of them is probably what also gave the books a hook to keep people coming back to buy more.
The issue I’m having is I have tons of ideas. Great ideas for coloring books and activity books. However, do you offer training on how to illustrate these books maybe in procreate or Canva? How do you get them from an idea on paper?
Hello Caroline, Thank you so much for this interesting and informative video. I have been thinking about creating a children’s coloring or picture book for awhile now. Can you recommend a course that is as simple as possible and wouldn’t take too long to finish? Robin
Hi Caroline, I have been subscribed to your channel now for over a year and I love the way you make this subject so interesting and exciting. I do have a question for you, because I trust your opinion completely. I have been seeing this new AI software advertised that will write a whole book and that Amazon KDP will love it and list it. But I know how picky Amazon can be. Is this something that you have looked into and is it something you can see yourself using?
do you have a contact us page for sponsorships or affiliate promotions? I want to send you access to our coloring book AI software but can seem to find it on your channel.
From Denmark 😊 Hi, I started following you to improve myself as a coloring book author. I need some advice on how to fix my grayscale images that seem to lack black when printed. The gray looks just gray. On my screen, they appear as bright blacks with delicate gray shades, but when printed, they are just grayscale. What should I do? Thank you so much!
Why do you still do videos from your bedroom if you make 25 per month via KDP? Or videos here on RUclips? If you earn this much, isn´t it time for an upgrade?
Hi, I want to ask you. I am creating a book about facts that includes a group of facts about the world, including facts about players, dictators, celebrities, and inventors. Does mentioning their names expose my book to copyright and trademark?
That is one of the big reasons for citations, but considering you are doing this for basic facts and informational purposes, explaining what a citation is and what it means directly would be a great addition at the end, but the citation of the included “ fact” is so that it is using the information you got, not that you fully assert, hope that helps.
Facts about historical events, people from history, and celebrities do not breach copyright laws because the facts are considered ‘common knowledge’. Publications released more than 75 years ago moves into ‘public domain’, free to use and replicate. Facts and publications known within 75 years, more contemporary, do not require citations if they are common facts. In depth facts for contemporary publications and celebrities and places, not so common knowledge, would require citations, but still doesn’t breach copyright laws.
Yes, that's a very good point. I'm sure most of us cannot spend even hundreds of dollars per month in order to keep a book we publish on Amazon in the public's eye.
Thank you for the great video. ❤

A professional illustrator would know that.
