Hi Caroline, I think it is a great idea and a great video but the program you mentioned and linked in the description is about how to draw books with grids overlays, nothing like the step by step drawings you mentioned in your video. What am I missing???😢
As an artist these books make me so angry... but honestly good hustle on these peoples parts. guess I will add this to my list of books to try to make next year.
Slight video critique though. I would loved to see a list of the points you make as you are talking about them and maybe a summery at the end. You know possibly just overlayed on the side of your videos.
I love your videos, thanks for the great insights. Can you possibly do a video on how the payments work for people outside the U.S.? I’m in Australia and it seems that the royalties don’t just get paid on a regular basis into my account. Is there a particular type of account you can recommend to make it more seamless? I’m with one of the big 4 banks but I’m wondering if I need a different type of account as opposed to my basic debit card account. I would really appreciate some information regarding this. TIA 😊
I think you make great video content and I appreciate the information… but.. I do find the jump cuts every few seconds really difficult to watch. Is that an editing setting? It’s as if there are no breaths, no space, no room for someone to digest the info and feels really unnatural, sorry but I really want to watch all the way through but my brain feels like it’s glitching. Just a thought. Thanks again for putting them together and bringing the ideas and info.
The information itself is valuable for some people, but she is not looking directly to the camera. It feels like she is a bit "disconnected" from the audience. maybe that's why it might be a bit harder to "follow" the information.
There is no such thing as "oversaturation", when you know where to place your specific, unique idea into that niche. But what I am missing in this video is the important research on the competition, to understand WHY this book is standing out.
Right, so basically this is just one long commercial to get us to buy the software through your affiliate link? If people started uploading these books a year ago, then anyone just starting today is already too late. I would also imagine the people making big money, also have a big ad spend not to mention, a lot of experience in self publishing, SEO, marketing etc. To suggest that a beginner can make huge sums of money by making books in this already saturated market, as long as they buy this shiny software that you make $30 in commission for every naive person who buys it, is unethical to say the least. Plus, the books like this, that sell well, are really well done, drawn by actual artists and not some okayish programme.
You're suggesting that only the first person to sell anything can make any money! 🙄 That's like saying there can only be one restaurant in every town! 😂

It was interesting to hear about someone else's book. I'm curious to know how her own books are doing since she's using a plethora of tools.

Thank you for the useful tool! I've been looking for a "how-to-draw tool" and was told I would have to use Adobe Illustrator or something complicated.

Is it possible to rank this well without ads?
Great content!! Thanks!

You have a pause button...use it. That's what I do...pause and take a few notes.

Hi Caroline how can i get in contact to ur course coming up pls?
Is it me or is the link for this not working? ---Crosswords, Cryptograms, Word Scrambles & More:
These drawings look familiar....maybe this is a book by Chris Raydog?
The niche is not new and oversaturated.
