I loved this park when I went last, it's been a minute though... Linear Gale was still there which was the prototype Intamin impulse coaster. The one thing that I was excited about this park was seeing the Tokyo Dome itself. Being an old school wresting fan from back in the WWF days and reading in PWI about the great shows at Tokyo Dome it was great just to see the building because to me it was so famous. The park itself was really fun too and the horror mazes there were great.
TBF, coasters like Tokyo Dome City's are built in densely populated urban areas. Which, even without any operating amusement parks, are the last place you wanna live if you're THAT concerned about Noise Pollution.
I remember when we were on a train from the anime district of Tokyo, saw the park and just walked in, bought tickets for thunder dolphin, rode it, got back on the train and went home 😭. We litterally had no plans to go to the park but randomly seeing it was sweet.
Hey coaster tube! I use to leave in japan in Tokyo and it was like from 2011 to 2014 so I’ve done Fuji q and so other theme park and also this one… the log flume is on the main floor and has a switch track that is kinda funny so u should go back and try it!
I live in japan and like to travel a lot so every time I go to Tokyo station and have a Layover I go to thunder dolphin. It is SO convenient. (Btw the jellyfish drop tower is strangely thrilling)
Panic Coaster Back Daaan was amazing, I didn't know about the disco section either. I went a few weeks before you and I had to put my bag in a large IKEA bag 😅
Question for you guys in here. I’m looking for the channel about the 2 guys that are always discussing Theme Parks and Rollercoasters. They both do webcam chatting and I’ve not seen them in awhile, Anyone know who I’m talking about? Or what there channel is called?
You know, if there was an amusement park built on top of several high rise buildings in lower Manhattan I think that would be a big ticket item. And no, I don't think the parks of Coney Island really count as being comparable. Actually, it might make more sense in downtown Los Angeles as a way to revitalize the downtown. The point is that the USA should have a quirky amusement park on top of some buildings in a city with a famous skyline.
Best time to visit is during the winter at night, thunder dolphins is more intense and feels faster
Everyone gangsta till someone plays ram ranch in the karaoke pod
4:00 don't forget the trippy visuals during the launch countdowns!
Loved that part

The Ferris wheel at this park was the main inspiration for the Radius ride in Planet Coaster!
