eh you get what you pay for, Im with Southeastern and I deliver pallets like that all the time on my liftgate. Yeah southeastern is more expensive but that extra money spent goes into things like liftgate straps and proper training.
What’s a lift gate strap
@@deadpool19954 exactly what it sounds like, you weld hooks onto the sides of the lift gate so you can strap a pallet to the lift gate. If its a short, lightweight pallet you can getaway without it. A large top heavy pallet (like in the video) should have been strapped down to the lift gate.

No I think this was like the missed field goal in the final moments of a lost game. These guys lost the game the way they played in the other 3 quarters. I would hate to think that this one pallet derailed a strong successful company with many happy customers. But I do appreciate your comment. Thank you.

Pallet not square and he should’ve used a lift gate strap for that large pallet. Most companies won’t even offer lift gate service for something of that height for liability
Something was wrong with that liftgate,....usually it comes down flat and level.

They stole my 3 pallet worth 200k
The pallet jack was almost off the lift. Also the other corner of the pallet hooked trailer. This pallet should have been square on the lift. I hope central uses this video for training.

Can you tell the liftgate is small and the pallet is long? i drove for these people all they have is Trash!!!!!!!

That’s one tiny lifgate. Those guys equipment is from the 80’s & 90’s.... they aren’t cheap for their quality
Completely crap liftgate. Sagging downward and driver didn’t secure pallet jack before moving lift. Rookie move, pallet should be completely sideways and if possible (not always doable)held top of pallet while lowering.
Pallet way too big.
3PL routed freight onto cheap ass, poorly run, going broke carrier. What could go wrong?
