How to start and finish a backstitch with 1 strand of thread

  • In this video, I show you how to start and finish a backstitch with 1 strand of thread when cross stitching. I also chat about why I mostly now prefer to use 1 strand rather than 2.
    At the start I have no idea why I say "2 strands of cross stitch" instead of "2 strands of thread" but hey, let's pretend that didn't happen 🤣

    I don’t understand how you secure the tread to the needle with only one strand??
