Consider a CPU bottleneck here in most of the games that you saw a 6700 XT as a "dissapointment". Even a 6600 XT was too fast for your 10400f

Another tips :
Make sure you can fit these chonky boys inside your glorified metal box. Budget builder often skimp heavily on PC case (like myself). Sometimes your bank account is not the only measurements that matter.

I have both and like the 6600 xt better. it has less driver issues.

I totally forgot but I had a lot of crashes on forza horizon 5 with a 6700 xt.

@@JimRPG i own a 6700 non xt, but you know what you should do.....test it in 1440p instead of 1080p, since these cards are made to play on that resolution
