The hard cut into gambling promotion at the end of the vid is truly grating. The same kids that y'all are talking about that needed the affordable price point shoes are the same people that are most likely to be harmed by the scantily regulated greed machine that is online betting. I love the Dray show, can't fault you guys for partnering with sponsors to make it all happen. I just wish you were promoting an industry with a more societally constructive objective.

The reality is the quality of sneakers from major brands are complete crap. The leather they use is so low quality, they put a plastic coating on it as otherwise it would crack super fast. They make them for less than $100 and charge you $300.
I can get a pair of full grain leather sneakers with a full leather liner for $200. AND it can be re-soled if needed to last over a decade.
Where would you get that from?

There a good channel called Rose Anvil that does breakdowns on shoes. Nike's are overpriced garbage compared to what you can get.

I wear Nike and Jordans but I will still admit I’m overpaying for what I get. I’m a 80s baby, so I’m hooked on the shit at this point. lol
As a guy who buys mid-high end leather boots, and sneakers, leather shoes are nice if you like the minimalist look. They lack the creativity for urban wear. Personally I rather spend $300 plus on boots than shoes, but sub $200 for sneakers makes sense.
