ERA PRA EU TER ACABADO ISSO EM 3 DIAS AAAA Enfim acabei de qualquer jeito. Já tava querendo fazer esse meme a muito tempo e achei a desculpa perfeita, mais Angst!! infelizmente eu quase não descansei ao trabalhar nesse vídeo então vou aproveitar o resto da minha semana de férias.

I WAS SUPPOSED TO FINISH THIS 3 DAYS AGO AAAA BUT, I finished it anyway. I've been wanting to make this meme for a long time and I found the perfect excuse, more Angst!! unfortunately I almost didn't rest working on this so I'll enjoy the rest of my "week off school" and take a break.

Okay so the expressions Moon, Lunar, Eclipse, and Sun are wearing while they speak their lines really got to me. Other comments have pointed out how perfectly each character choice goes with the phrase they were chosen for, but like...yea I just need to gush on the faces and body language.
Moon looking rueful, and like he's fully aware that what he's saying is wrong, but still being surprised by the result. Lunar looking worried when given his word, then trying to answer cheerfully in whatever way he hopes will make the asker happy, only to look like *he* expected to fail when he fades out. Eclipse's guarded apprehension, that 'back against the wall but I refuse to show my fear' expression, the subtle pulling in of his rays, the defiant roll of his eyes and crossing of his arms, the extra careful enunciation of the letters he knows damn well are wrong but screw you that's *his* answer, and then that little flash of Moon and the *fear* in the realization that he's still echoing what he was abandoned for, all culminating in disappointment. And then Sun...initially worried until he hears his word and is suddenly *scared*...to me it looks like he's deliberately choosing to try and defy the cruelty of the asker, to try and replace it with kindness, though he's unsure if he can do it, and then that quick transition as he's grabbed by the throat and swung around to face his own personal nightmare.
God I'm a sucker for communication in animation through body language, it can be so hard to do, when it takes so long to animate even a short video, but I love youtube for giving us a place where we can watch a short clip over and over, slowing it down, looking for single frame moments of significance. This video is amazing, I don't know if all the meaning I took from it was what was intended, but it spoke *volumes* to me.
GOD If I could pin 2 comments I would. This whole text got me SHOCKED. Your whole analysis was just amazing, I really tried to keep each character's body language right but tbh It was all on spot, everything you said gave extra meaning to the animation I'm glad It made you see deep stuff.

I'm glad I made a positive impact! We're all so hypercritical of our own work, it can be easy to miss the really cool stuff because we're focusing on this one line that just isn't turning out like we want it to. It's always fun to get that uplifting comment that makes you see your work from the outside, and I love trying to be that comment.
Honestly Eclipse is my favorite character, and I wanted to go on about how you *nailed* him for about three paragraphs. I've gone through his section probably twenty seven times, frame by frame, just looking at the tiny adjustments, the timing, the spot on emotional impact of miniscule details. Like, the fade from 'Superimposed Moon' to 'shocked Eclipse' to 'disappointed Eclipse' takes about a half a second but *so* much is happening there, its like he goes from 'screw this' to 'screw you' to 'oh shit-' to just that silent wordless understanding of how bad you messed up and how you'll probably do it again given the chance. At the beginning of his section, when he starts spelling and he's got his eyes narrowed, I can *hear* that annoyed 'god damnit' growl he sometimes makes when he's tried to manipulate someone and they don't go for his preferred bait. Its really fantastic, no wasted frames whatsoever. Thanks so much for all the work.^^

Honestly. Eclipse was the one that took longer to animate cuz I was actually paying attention to the details, he is my favorite since he first appeared, I've been analyzing his character in quite a long time. God I even kin this man (..maybe that's not smth good.) I'm glad I nailed It. 🤝 but maybe you should take a break from watching the video on loop-
I noticed the surface stuff, but reading your comment gave me a whole new look at it! So cool!
God I love this from the colors, cool extra eyes on Killcode and Bloodmoon, and the fluid animation! Creator showing no care and almost evil intent toward the “mistakes” he built to keep their purpose. Ruin Eclipse looking creepy/playful. The lore of Moon wanting “freedom” and resetting, Lunar feeling hopeless and dying, Eclipse’s abandonment/identity/anger issues, and Sun feeling like a sinner with all his mistakes/lies culminating into him feeling evil. Or perhaps hinting at his upcoming monster form as his body warps from the star power? Evil Sun era…he deserves a lil mayhem poor guy. Either way lovely work, this is a treat for the eyes!

The numbers the tvs flash translate to "victim". Theres morse too, but I cant seem to figure out the morse code. I cant tell whats supposed to be a space and whats supposed to be together, also the website i use says there cant be three dots in morse?
