Hi, it's me again, combinne, I'm a newbie in animating and I have a particular interest in retro styled content, such as Faith. This is my first serious animation video, I hope you enjoy it, but constructive criticism is always good! :)

people give old styles like this shit because its so simple that it looks lazy, but i gotta say that its actually a lot harder than it looks and you *nailed it perfectly.* this is an amazing tribute.
This is what I like about pixelart, you have a limited space to create your image, so each pixel has to hold meaning.

When hearing this song originally I thought it was about this game, then I found out it was not and felt silly.
I thought that too, this was the first video with this song that I heard, so I thought it was from the game.

@@user-kh5pn8to5mThat line isn't in the original two versions and was added in by someone else so I wouldn't really use it as an example.
I imagine the original game it was related to may also be either just as good or better for an animation with this audio (though maybe it would be the perfect media for the original 3 versions of the song instead of this one which pulls audio directly from Faith.)
Finally there is a fandom for faith. This game is great seriously

I like how (this might be a stretch) the whole song is based on the old catholic church, "Heaven is above, Heaven is correct." Sounds like a preist telling this and should follow it and 'heaven says' is the catholic church giving orders to the lower people as the bible was mostly in latin and there weren't many people who can translate it so holding the contents of the bible they pretty much became the messenger of god and thus being able to command people ie "heaven says."
Wow! Great teory, you can see the lyrics and the video like that. My interpretation of "Heaven" in this video is something like "God" or an autority from above, but the entity singing about how you should follow Heaven's commands is actually Satan, which canonically deceived John into giving up on Amy and leaving her behind, while disguised as God.
actually its based around deltarune and its more like an insane angel trying to not lose its form, and trying not to be forgotten by the ANGEL'S HEAVEN, and trying to ascend to freedom and be with us, lightners.
It's actually about fighting a sentient Speak N' Spell (Also heaven is likely just the real world in this case)

It's similar, but Airdorf is way better at drawing human anatomy than me.
@@combinne because Airdorf uses the technique of actually doing the movements and recording that but drawing over them.
I think it was called Rotoscoping, but the fact you were able to almost perfectly imitate rotoscope images speaks volumes on how amazing you are at drawing that human anatomy, don't discredit yourself, it's truly magnificent.
The song fits the song so well bc thesong is about finding the demon of heaven and it gets punished
And the game is about you saving the world from the demons and if you look is the demons pov it fits the meaning perfectly demons "heaven " is earth and ppl who are religions are the "demons" in their meaning and the part that says heaven says it meaning heaven is talking to john and more stuff related to faith qnd this song

What I like about HEAVEN SAYS is that is very open to interpretation, so it's easily adaptable to other medias such as FAITH.

I have seen some memes goinng around with this music and i instantly thought about unholy trinity because of the voice, i just found this video and it is amazing and doesnt have any (animation meme) warning, so just to be sure, is this the original one?
I'm not sure what you mean by "original", I created the animation by myself, but I got the idea of creating the animation after seeing some edits with the song using FAITH voicelines.
