Thanks @Bibled Googled and I hope all goes well! Tip: On some vehicles the AdBlue Level ‘OK’ has been replaced by ‘AdBlue Range in Km’s’ ~ Please make sure that there is no fluid in the hose, then disconnect it and store it back into the container.

Thanks Bro...yes it is, the engine’s power and performance will be reduced to limit its emissions and you won’t be able to restart the engine if the AdBlue tank is empty.

Your welcome Hannah! Mercedes-Benz uses AdBlue: made from urea and demineralised water, it's non-toxic, colourless, odourless and non-flammable. However check the user manual for more information if your particular model needs it.

Please help, I have a Range Rover Velar and the dealer is telling me not to use Adblue because it may damage the engine and only use OEM. Is this true? Have you had any problems using non OEM diesel exhaust fluid?

You can't start your car, because your Adblue level is too low, so you have to go on the interweb to find what to do, and - hey presto! - there is already a can of Adblue in your boot, even though you can't possibly have driven anywhere to get it.

@@shvlogs2261…It is difficult to say exactly how much AbBlue your car needs as car models differ but usage generally equates to around 1 litre per 350 to 600 miles.
AdBlue use is also usually around 3 to 6% of diesel consumption. The amount your car needs is dependent on engine size, driving style and the size of your car AbBlue tank.

Si has echado todo eso, has cometido un grave error. Aunque no dice exactamente Land Rover la cantidad a echar, yo he tenido una muy mala y cara experiencia con el adBlue. Como digo, en ningun sitio pone la cantidad que hay que reponer, y cometi el error de comprar una garrafa de 10 litos, y rellenar hasta arriba el deposito. Esto me produjo una averia, porque como mucho aconsejan echar menos de 4 litros, es decir 2 de las garrafas que venden en Land Rover, esta averia me supuso ya hacetres años mas o menos 1.300 €, asi que echarlo si, pero como mucho 4 litros.
