Daymare 1998 PC vs PS4 Comparison

For anyone curious how well the PS4 port turned out, here's some clips from the first chapter of Daymare 1998 comparing the PC version to the PS4.
Video was captured on a base model PS4 at 1080p60 using a Japanese retail copy.
PC footage was recorded using OBS.
Overall the PC version runs smoother and has amazing lighting. The PS4 version has motion blur, texture pop-in, and the cutscenes stutter more. Perhaps these will be patched out before launch.

Does it have a good frame rate without screen tearing on ps4 and xbox one?

I can't speak to the xbox version but I didn't notice a lot of screen tearing. The framerate stayed pretty consistent but I didn't do an analysis. The cutscene run quite choppy though.

I can't say because I can't get either yet here but I doubt it. They didn't support PS4 Pro or Xbox One X enhancements so....

Amazing how a pc game back in 99 looked better then most ps4 games that came out like 15 years later. Oh nvm just looked it up 1999 is the title lol. I feel so dumb
