Such a beautiful story! I’m happy you listened and followed your spirit. My first child is past his due date and I don’t want to rush him out but just want to go into labor naturally. All the remedies definitely helped ripen everything up to deliver baby! I just started drinking a ripening tea and will continue to up the labor inducing exercises. Thank you for sharing. 🌺💚

On the doctor's part I think she gets more money when she do surgeries. Well that's how it goes in my country (Jamaica) doctors get better pay when they perform surgeries. A doctor told me that himself as well.

I'm glad I came across your video cause my OB is trying to force a c section on me also. He told me he won't let me go pass my due date and then lied and said he won't be able to do it on a Friday. He won't let me do a VBAC. He lied and said it's not a way he can see the thickness of my scar tissue which was a lie. I did my research when I wanted ro do a homebirth and found out they give you the option to have an ultrasound in your 3rd trimester to see the thickness of the scar. These docs run to a c section real quick once they find out you already had one and its sad. They wanna pull her next week Tuesday saying they gonna drop me if not.
So sorry..you would have asked permission from her to try and induce at home with the Midwife brew.. I mean that's the only thing we can do for ourselves while, praying and hoping... I walked my ass off and got glued to the Midwife brew for some days and with more than the recommended amount. And aside that I had used other things before..and I almost made a video about it on the things I was using to prepare for my vbac. So that and the brew was a go for me and my faith was as strong as a rock that I can do it and that all my efforts won't go to waste. Am so sorry dear I don't think you have that much time to prepare seeing the planned date is just around the corner. Just pray and hope God see,s you through. 🙏
I home birthed VBA2C 14 months from the last c section and it was worth it!! Many dr won’t allow VBAC for no serious reason ❤

We as women we as people know our own bodies. In the fact that we as women of color Have the highest death rate in birth because doctors often don't listen to us Or advocate for us. I thank God for giving me the grace to believe in myself.. she is still my doctor and now she respects me so much because she never expected I could do it and never knew that her calculations was wrong.. she respects and treat me like a vip now when ever we have an appointment.. I believe she has also learned and won’t do that to any pregnant mom again because she might just be wrong about the baby’s size

How could she make such mistake with her saying baby is too big at 5kg when u were 7months. That’s crazy. It’s like she just wanted to cut you. Smh. I just don’t trust most doctors these days. It’s very sad but I really don’t trust them.
My dear that was the same reason I refused doing it because..to me that can’t be 💯 % true ..she is not god and her calculations might just be wrong.since am fine and baby too is fine and healthy then I don’t have to listen.it was really a nightmare going to her every week and hearing the same thing every time dear have also learnt not to trust most of the things they say

I’m 38 weeks took 2 tbs Sunday morning, and then waited 24 hours took 2 tbs more I contracted a little bit but then it stopped and today I have took 2 tbs more and still nothing😭 I’m too scared to take anymore

Anyway you just have to calm down.. ok and I understand if you are scared to increase your takes... i was too but I felt I just needed to do what I felt was best rather than allowing my Dr do what was on her mind.. so just relax and allow your baby come without any stress as long as you are not being pressured like I was ok

😞 yeah second pregnancy never experienced it before…so it was new to me. But I thank God for his Grace.
37 weeks 4 days pregnant today with baby no. 6 I've drank the midwives brew multiple times a day and it did not work I even did orange juice with castor oil. My ob hasn't checked my cervix and keeps saying next week I will get checked I've literally just given up hope and just gonna rely on him to come when ready
Yeah so sorry. Sometimes you really don't understand that castor oil lol.. it was almost same for me.. it didn't work taking it multiple times a day for 1 week straight ..it didn't put me into labor but it did dilate me .and just when I was about giving up with my last cup 🥤 bum it worked..lol but don't worry baby will come when his really ready don't stress yourself.

I am currently 40.6 weeks and at 38 weeks my Dr also told me my baby is big and I've got a small pelvis, he was busy asking me if I really want to continue with Vbac and trying to scare me and making me believe that its impossible for me yo Vbac. I literally left the hospital i discharged myself wanted to keep me in after getting my membrane sweep but i I refused to stay the night because the nurses were also not that supportive with my decision.
So sorry..this literally took me back to before I posted this video. Because yes I was in the same exact situation as you right now. That my baby is too big and small pelvic won't be able to push an my vbac won't be possible. We'll God proved her wrong. I did the Midwife brew had it on an empty stomach and had my baby Virginially without tearing....so sorry you are going true the same. Saying I had a small pelvic with a big baby wasn't as painful as crushing the fact that I wanted to give myself an my body a try for a vbac but she almost took that away by almost crushing my hopes. Just hang in there believe in YOU and do whatever you believe is BEST for you and for YOUR baby ok .Goodluck
I'm currently 38 weeks and 4 days pregnant with my third baby, a boy. I've been induced twice with my other 2 kids both going to 41 weeks. However, with this one I'm 2 cm dilated, and my cervix is thinned out and I lost my mucus plug yesterday. I've been hesitant about the castor oil and midwives brew but I'm gonna try it tonight. I believe because I already lost the plug it just might work. Pray for me yall. I'm kinda scared but I'm prepared and gonna drink a lot of water so I won't get dehydrated.
That’s so cute.. congratulations in advance dear…there is a very big chance it might also for you.because you are alittle dilated and, your cervix is tinned out…with you losing your plug so yes I think it might work.. because your body seems ready. Try and go for curb walking if you can..I did and that also helped me tremendously..go for alittle curb walking..take a warm bath and prepare the brew..the moment you you start contracting…support it to get stronger by bouncing on your yoga ball or walking around your sitting room.. I really hope it works for you as I believe it will… goodluck mama
Update: the castor oil didn't work for me. A little disappointed 😞 ok more like a whole lot cause I really had my hopes up. Did curb walking and squats and got moving until I was tired and fell asleep. Most I experienced was mild cramping and one round of the shits. But hey I tried it and at least my baby is okay and still moving. I guess I'll just wait til he comes on his own. I'm just glad he's moving and not in distress.
@@The223214 so sorry dear..even though your body seems really ready. At list you tried it. And which did you do? The midwife brew or just castor oil mixed with something else? Was it also the legendary 2spoon mix you did.. because really it supposed to have work with most of the signs your body is giving.well dear good luck and wishing you a safe delivery dear 💋
@@MomzCorner I couldn't find the exact ingredients for the brew mainly the apricot nectar being hard to find in my area so I did the 2 tbsp of castor oil along with orange juice and lemon lime soda. Maybe the drink I used could've been the issue. I also took it after eating a full meal as I watched another video saying to take it with food so that could've been where I went wrong too.
@@The223214 I think you are supposed to take it on an empty stomach..about 3hours after eating..and I also think the most active ingredient of all the ingredients in the midwife brew is the castor oil and the lemon verbena tea ..but anyway dear you tried ok the ingredients are really not easy to come by..

Your body DOES need to ready. I took it 2 days ago, at 39 weeks.😂 ALLLLL the painful contractions in the world including BLEEDING! Went to ER thought it was time. Hours later contractions completely Stopped. They discharged me. Welp yesterday my OB stripped my membrane and spread me to 3 1/2cm. My induction is tomorrow for inducing labor. I may take it again... the Mid wives Brew. Oh and I'm still having painful contractions

Tell the doctor “no”. Switch providers if you still have time. Just wait your labor start and go to another hospital, they don’t deny you.

Ive taken midwifes brew 2x and castor oil 1x. Did you do the midwives brew with 3 tables spoons of castor oil?
& then how many hours after did u take the castor oil with the pineapple to keep the contractions going?
& Did u use the core of the pineapple to blend with the castor oil?
Yes I did the brew with 3 tablespoon of castor oil. And an hour later I started having contractions and that was when I stood and blended fresh pineapples with the core included and another 3and a half spoon of castor oil to strengthen the contractions and it worked..
Where you dilated before you did the castor oil ?
I can't really remember anymore. But I did arrive at the hospital with 2-3cm

Not in any case you will be able to induce labour by swallowing castor oil, for you will have to distinguish:
- In the case that your liver will be without any toxins your gall will be without any toxins too. So, moving the bowels by taking a good dose castor oil will be experienced always as harmless and short lasting, for the PGE2-synthesis will not happen and so you will not be able to induce labor.
- In the other case that after having swallowed a good dose castor oil a lot of toxins will be liberated in the liver and excreted with the gall in the duodenum the PGE2-synthesis will occur with cramps of the bowels and the womb, and this one may be experienced as harmful and long lasting and so you will be able to induce labor.
Thanks for your opinion..but am sorry it's not needed.. I used castor oil for the Midwife brew before to induce labor and it worked.. now am going to do it again.. as far as my dr permitted I can go ahead. So thanks for sharing

Just coming across ur video, ur baby is beautiful, I am 39+ and nothing I guess I will take d castor oil again tonight as I took 30ml last night only to poop like 3times then contractions which don't get intense but just regular. So I will take it again, but 1ml and hope this time contractions continue regularly with intensity

Even with taking the castor oil for 5days and at about 7 to 8times I never pooped nothing happened..no vomiting nothing at all ,they even had to give me something to poop before pushing..and that was the only the only time I 💩 pooped..while dealing with contractions..

Yeah i believe so too..because I also took it at 38 from Thursday Friday and Saturday and Sunday it didn’t work guess my body wasn’t ready..went for my appointment got a membrane sweep and and took it again at 39weeks and it worked
Same thing happened to me! I was in labor 3 days . Still unable to dilate beyond 2 cm and the castor oil made those contractions come strong!!!!!

I had diarrhea and nausea. Castor oil is a laxative so it's normal if you do get diarrhea after taking it
Hi...my castor oil says for external use only.Can i still take it ? bcoz i can't find edible one in uk.
No, you can’t take external. The only one that’s safe to drink (with doctors approval) is the USP one that’s at pharmacies.
I don’t think there is an edible one ..but you can still check because I remember buying from some place..like shops and pharmacies but each time I say I want to use it for my pregnancy they say no it’s for ..the hair the nails etc so I would leave till I decided not to say it anymore so I just went to the pharmacy and requested for it again and this time I didn’t say what I needed it for..cause they would disencourage me again..so I just bought it and leave there..without saying why I needed it..I look at it an there was nothing like external or edible or for the skin and hair..nothing just castor oil so..with the go ahead from my doc I just used it..and bum baby showed up
The one for internal use is the humco (USP) or swan (USP) brand. There’s also cvs, Walgreens, and rite aid brand I believe. Castor oil can be used as a laxative so if it’s for that use and gives instructions on how to ingest it then it is for internal use. It usually will days “USP.” Check with doctor first of course.
Did you use evening primrose oil (vaginally)? I tried midwives brew twice with my last pregnancy and it didn’t work. Had a 57 hour long induction. Now I learned that evening primrose oil inserted vaginally can ripen the cervix and the midwives brew (castor oil) will only work if your cervix is ripe enough. It might ripen it a little each time with the castor oil but it won’t really be effective without it being ripe and the evening primrose oil can do that according to new studies (obviously check with dr).
Yeah I used the evening primrose oil vaginally from the start of my third trimester I started with 1000mg and gradually transited to 2000 and more as my pregnancy keep growing..and my cervix was ripened and opened to 2cm before I started the brew and it finally got me into labor and I got to the hospital with 3cm and kept progressing till baby came ❤️
@@MomzCorner that’s great! I hope the evening primrose oil works with this pregnancy. My first two I had to be induced with pitocin (at 41 weeks), hopefully this one I can avoid. It makes me worried you had to take the castor oil so many days before it worked even though you used evening primrose oil, because I was hoping it would work after the first couple tries for me otherwise I’ll have to be induced again.

So sorry dear..yes my water broke at the hospital on my second attempt with the castor oil..if you are having irregular contractions but very intense you can still call your midwife or doula for advice on what to do..hope you have your baby soon.. and congratulations in advance 🎉

@@ummukulthum1268 my dear I can definitely feel you…you are not supposed to stress because you took your time well enough before getting pregnant again unlike me..and why would your doc stop the evening primrose oil because I would say that also helped me in softening my cervix and making it easy for my birth and also didn’t tear as well..well it is well the lord is your strength it’s your doc I believe you should know when they mean well for you and the baby and when they don’t..for me I could definitely tell that my doc didn’t mean well for me she just wanted to get it over with me without giving me any chance to at list try..so I had to hold my ground..if you believe your doc mean well then it’s ok..but I pray that the God that did mine will also did yours for you..just try and look around ok I didn’t know if they sell the items for the mid wife brew here I checked the internet bought some online and search the rest in a store may God see you through till birth.. safe delivery dear
@@MomzCorner My doctor said primrose oil will make uterus thinner so it will be easy to rupture(my cs scar is low vertical incision) I don't know what to believe and I bought them before I met him😃

@@ummukulthum1268 it’s ok you are welcome..yeah I was told the same thing and was scared at first..but later I decided to take out that fear and let God lead me..I started my evening primrose oil late because of fear but yeah I did it anyway..for some reason something in me just keep telling me to trust God and that nothing can go wrong..so I do rather follow my instincts than follow someone who is not God and can also make mistakes..of which yeah she proved it by showing that doctors can still fail and make mistakes by saying my baby was too big and won’t pass the day the baby came out she accepted her mistakes..I chose to take out the fear and use the primrose rose oil anyway because I said to myself how was it that this capsule 💊 was going to make me rapture around my pelvic area when I was actually using it for something else…maybe it will rapture for those that take it true the mouth..but I was inserting mine so there was no possible way it would rapture..I kept using it and doubled up on my capsule lol and vuwala baby came out without a scratch and I didn’t tear.. God did it, my primrose oil did it my date my raspberry leaf tea did it..so dear just go with what your heart tells you and don’t argue with it.. if it’s your doc it’s fine..but trust me you are in God hands ok

Hope you spoke to your doctor about this? Well I would say you try it again with 2-3 teaspoons with chopped pineapples blend together,and the moment you start having contractions. Mixup another ASAP that way the contractions won’t die down.. thAt was what I did

@@sabeenghufran8715 you can. Within the 4-5days that I took mine they were days when I took it twice.. including the day it finally put me into labor. I took it twice within the space of 1hour when labor started.. and just so it doesn’t stop too
