My mk3 had the regular "coil over spring setup", and so did my corolla. This is all new to me, and I used to have a golf but had never got under it in the time I owned it

You’ll find that this setup is so easy to do. The fronts are a little harder, make sure you have a strut spreader tool and some pb blaster

Can you tell me what jack point you used and where you have placed your jack stand? It almost looks like you’re using the pinch weld for both, but I can’t tell. On my Jetta, I can’t use the pinch weld for both and it’s not clear to me what other point in that general area that will either support jacking or a jack stand. Thanks.

What are the springs you installed? Brand? Are they made for the jetta wagon? Good video but missing the info I really need lol

They’re R32 springs but stock mk4 springs will work as well

R32 springs are for the 4MOTION hence cups need to be modified.

Still got the gist of what to do though, thanks. I need to do the struts too but I can figure it out

@@2ZERO8 I've done suspension 3 timee before but each time a few yrs pass before I attempt it again so I forget/lose the confidence lol. Never done this type of suspension anyway where the strut and spring are next to eachother not over eachother. VW bs lol
