- In a major setback for the state government, the Gauhati High Court Kohima Bench has quashed the appointment of 935 police constables who were recruited between January 2018 and October 2019 without advertisement.

Sad news for those 935 trained police personnel and their family. Wonderful opportunity and new hope for lakhs of educated unemployed naga youths. Now its time for State government to decide whom to favour. Please take a wise decision dear government

Maybe the petitioners are afraid of ASI & SI since they occupy higher post. Whereas a constable they hold lower position.

A sad reality for the 935 constables. During covid-19 they performed their duties put their lives on the line, even in hornbill they were traffic personals. And now here they are on the verge of getting sacked. We know everyone is happy that they are getting terminated yet after serving more than 5 years, Some might have already started a family some might be planning to settle down soon all those dreams of living a better life's suddenly turn into a nightmare.
Many people mock them saying these 935 are from rich family, well rich people will never apply for constable post. These 935 unlucky men and women are from poor family.
