What do you think about cryptomater? Its easy to use.
Pro tip for SSD/Flash memory: If you wanna throw away an SSD flash drive or SD Card, just encrypt it with Bitlocker (windows) or Veracrypt and just "forget" or throw away the keys to unlock the drive. Should effectively be the same thing as overwrite the drive 7 times.
or, just do a "dd if=/dev/urandom of=/dev/"

Can you record an video about alternative of encrypting whole sysem without using FileVault2? Like, on Windows you have BitLocker but also you have VeraCrypt. Maybe it will be possible with "kernel addons" (or something like that). What do you think? Oh and btw I use M1 if that makes a difference (probably does). When superbacked overwrite data its zeros or random?
If I understand your question correctly, Superbacked actually does not overwrite data given it doesn’t have to as it doesn’t persist data at all running from memory vs disk.
