Don't know if it counts as a breakdown for most people, but I always loved World Painted Blood by Slayer. The slow drop from F# to F to E and then that bridge in Eb is just so great

Meshuggah - New Millenium Cyanide Christ outro is basically the final boss breakdown for the no headbang challenge.
A newer one is the outro for Hello Death from Decapitated and a deep cut is the middle part of Filthy by Nothingface (Tom Maxwell, the riffmaster).

Domination is one of my favourite Pantera songs and that breakdown riff goes fucking hard, still makes me wonder why they didn’t do anything more with it but it’s still badass nonetheless. Also if you do a part 2 I’d love to see Suite-Pee by System of a Down, that’s definitely one of the best breakdown riffs imo

Great tone for the classic breakdowns (Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, etc.)
For the newer songs, it sounds like you need a stronger boost in front of your amp for a more aggressive yet still tight sound.
Other than that great playing and great choice for breakdowns! Am I Savage is such an underrated song!

Metallica, Pantera and Slayer really know how to make headbaging breakdowns. They tell stories, feelings, atmosphere. The whole middle ''composed'' mostly from 00 00 00 is incredibly boring, not heavy and every breakdown sounds the same.
    Good video tho!

Hello Ibrahim good morning. Terrific stuff and super clean production, Compliments! Would you mind to answer a question? Do you have a sistematic process to establish when it is time to go on from what you are practicing today to new stuff (basically pure technique)? My problem : I cannot normally bring my studies to the bpm speed i want to because it would last forever, and of course I have also to integrate new material in my routine. What are the signs you notice (or the process you use) to put that particular thing to the side (and maybe revisit it in the future?) and bring in new stuff to learn? i hope this make some sense :D Thank you in advance and keep rockin´! maxx

This is a solid list, however I think there's so many great breakdowns to choose from that it was disappointing you had multiple entries from a few bands. Maybe consider in future lists to not allow double entries so you can have a wider array of bands (like Unearth, who I was shocked didn't make the cut)! Regardless, amazing job as always. Keep up the content my friend.

The thing about Metallica is.. "Am I Savage" song comes out 2016 and its much brutal and beautiful than 90's and early 2000's breakdown riffs songs. This all about guitar tones and Metallica nailed it. In my opinion, Am I Savage breakdown riff is brutally much better than most of Pantera's breakdown work.
