I entirely agree. I am a vegetarian myself from 14 years, and I have experienced quite a few things myself when it comes to food. The truth is, personal experience is the best experience of all. Nowadays, I see a lot of wannabe gurus online teaching on how to be a raw vegan, but I feel like it's more of a trend then a lifestyle originating from deep conviction. As appealing as it might seem, being a raw vegan doesn't really work for me. I tried, but I had several digestive problems, painful stomach aches and bloating. However, if I eat cooked vegetables for example, I have no issues at all. In spite of being a vegetarian, I have problems of eating raw food, I am sick from most of them, including peanuts. I can't even eat apples, they give me the same stomach aches. They don't work for me. Bananas do work in my case, grapes or peaches also. Diary products don't work for me, again I am sick from them, but eggs or honey products are not an issue. Sugar or any sugar related product, also don't work for me. To make it short, my point is some things work, some things might make you sick. After several years of experience, I came to the conclusion, that is best for each individual to try out which lifestyle suits him best. Within reason of course. It's the best and healthiest approach I think, and the only way to find out what type of food works for you. Anyways, I really like this video, few individuals take the effort to actually give sane advices with respect to others. Peace out!
Thanks so much for making this video. I totally agree! If I lived in a place like Bali, I think a raw vegan diet would resonate with me but as I live in a northern temperate climate (like yourself), finding foods that are in resonance with that environment and climate are the foods that resonate best with my body (because my body too, is in that environment and climate). Trusting our own experience always far outweighs the 'insights' of some guru who doesn't even necessarily know us, the environment and climate we live in, nor the stresses and anxieties that we might be dealing with. Your message of developing our bodily awareness and intuition is very sage advice. Also, in reference to raw....humans evolved a great capacity / ability to digest amylases than other primates. Could our use of fire have triggered that adaptation? Also, just because something is natural doesn't mean it is better or good (if we digested raw meat or raw legumes, we would get sick).

I live in a tropical country, where the winter is barely cold at all and has plenty of fruit and plants. So, for me, it is easier to be raw vegan. But yes, I can see that in countries that are colder it can be way harder. Your argument about the winter is on point. I believe that has also to do with the reason of why people in the "blue zones" live longer. These zones are closer to the tropical, where raw food is highly accessible.
If u do raw vegan right like Fullyrawkristina ..Lou Corona..Jillian..Shane Sterling you would be thriving ...you need to eat not only enough but also..do alot of veggie juices ..
To all the nay sayers on veganism i saw look at john rose. hes been raw vegan for 35 years or so and hes in his 70s. very fit and bright man. I personally am vegetarian 7 years and high raw for one. I feel great. I think many in the raw community are too pure and restrictive , just eating fruit or fasting too much. I think we need stuff like sprouted buckwheat. Eating eggs or something every once and a while won't kill you, and might be a good way for people not to get deficient in omega 3. I eat a lot of flax seeds which have it. It seems everyone is different and not everyone does well on this diet. I don't think carnivore or low carb is the answer tho.
Humans are designed to eat animal products in very small amounts. Our closest primate relatives, chimpanzees and bonobos, eat around 6% animal products, according to Jane Goodall. This is why vegans become deficient in omega-3s, B12, K2, etc. They also lose muscle mass and skin elasticity. We are designed to get these missing nutrients from an occasional meal of meat (and preferably fish due to the high omega-3s). Herbivores can extract protein from plants (with 4 stomachs, etc). We are less capable of doing this. How much meat do we need? Enough to be beneficial, and not detrimental (high cholesterol, hardened arteries, heart disease, cancer, etc). Probably around 5%. This is what The China Study uncovered. Animal products above 5% became detrimental in humans and cancer and heart disease increased. Below 5% and there were nutritional benefits without the dangers.

All that intuition telling you to eat better by using fire ? What species does that ? Raw is not idealistic. Coocked is a pleasure trap not a nutritional step up. No human should have ever left the area best fot for them to live with no need for clothes or shelter and plenty of natural foods = subtropical regions 😊 Your message is ok to help the compromisers compromise some more because you are missing the whole point of human life which. Then we found reasons for why its even "better" 😂 Sure, guru's are to be avoided because of their obnoxious behavior. But natural logic should still tell you Nature needs you to eat raw fruits, plants and the poop that comes with that to complete the circle of life.
I think humans are not supposed to live in a cold climate zones. We cant survive naturally as other animal species. We don't have thick fur. Also we need sunlight and its obvious we are more happy when its warm and sunny. As well in a warm climate zones there are different variety of fruits which grows all year long.
@@FabioBellanova yes, because animal protein produces a thermal effect within the body thereby increasing heat so making the body warmer and this is why communities who live in a cold climate such as Siberia ( temperatures - 15 to 30 degrees Celsius ) which is extremely cold and way below zero all indigenous peoples live mainly on animals and cooked stews etc . If they ate a raw vegan diet in this freezing cold temperature they would be very cold and have to eat many times a day and require a substantial amount of calories just to survive...eating meat in sub zero freezing temperatures increases internal body heat thereby providing both a thermal effect and nutrition together. In a warm climate the body has less requirement for extra heat and so less requirement or need for meat and poultry etc...fruit and vegetables and salad may be more appropriate in warm weather countries...

Why can't we find any veggies in nature? If humans were made to eat veggies, why our digestive tract is not able to process plant base food? We have short colon like carnivores not long colon like herbivores.
I agree, most veggies do not appear in nature and are bread by humans, however this doesn't mean they are bad or not healthy. Maybe YOUR digestive tract is not able to digest them. Mine definitely is. Most people are simply not used to eating raw plants and their gut miceobiome needs to be rebuilt. Our digestive system is not that of a herbivore correct, but it's also not similar to that of a carnivore it is actually closest to that of frugivores, which we belong to as a species.
I ate local bananas in Costa Rica and was raw for a long period. I didn’t feel great on them. Your argument, or any other vegans for that matter, isn’t sound. Fact is that everyone has specific needs. Certainly veganism is not natural and would never occur in nature for humans. I hope the vegan agenda ends.

@@jean-chritophedesjarlais8435 I quit eating processed food on several other diets and didn't get the same results. According to lots of so called "studies" they tell us red meat IS processed food, but now I eat 80%+ red meat and all my health markers are miles better.
@@georgemoonman2830 I count bread as processed food btw. Even whole wheat has added sugar, gluten and oil.
I’d be surprised if anything could beat a totally unprocessed whole food vegan diet that’s mindful about keeping low blood sugar and calories.
Thank you for this video! I’m going through this right now, learning to trust my body and intuition. I think you’d love reading: The One-Straw Revolution
AN INTRODUCTION TO NATURAL FARMING
By Masanobu Fukuoka. Its BRILLIANT! Yes, EMPOWER thy self.
Did you ever ask Dr Zoe Harcombe "should we be vegan"? 20 years of experience gives her thoughts some validity...
do the years of experience always give validity? veganism is considered the best choice by science. And you can make your own research.
@@davidiruya657 of course not but her story is still valid as is yours...have you shared it anywhere? Personally I see tons of "science" is clearly corrupted, so I prefer exploring alternative sources of info/knowledge and trying for myself (n=1). Do you trust Fauci? Klaus Schwab? Bill Gates? Lots of money out there producing "science" to confirm their claims 😲
I’ll suggest that raw animal foods are best. ✌️
Not truly
@@humblerenell1015 wrong answer, but best of luck with your health.
My body likes drugs …. They make my body feel good 😂😂😂😂. I’m gonna trust my body !! Lol you realize you can’t feel tumors growing or plaque build up …. So how your body “feels “ doesn’t really matter unless you have an allergy to a certain food …. Any ways seasonal whole food plant based eating is cool so 👍
Being bitter is also not good for our health 👍
@@FabioBellanova for sure
Are you still vegan?
Yes 👍
Are u still vegan
raw vegans are king of farts...you need to eat meat based cooked and some rice sourdough bread for meals and fresh fruits and fresh fruit juices(in evening as snacks) and some cheese and kefir(a2 milk based)
Obviously you didn't know what you were doing as a raw vegan otherwise you would still be a raw vegan.
What should he know ?
Be healthy - Don´t go vegan... Not optimal! Lacking!
are you a scientist? all your colleagues think the opposite.
@@davidiruya657 Not really No. Do some research then.
@@davidiruya657 I can mention a few for you Anthony Chaffee MD, Dr Ken Berry, Dr Shawn Baker.
Explain to us what's lacking on a vegan diet
@@FabioBellanova omega-3 fatty acids, iron, zinc, iodine, and vitamins B12. You need that from supplements = Hence a lacking optimal diet. Not to mention the things you get from plants are not bioavailable, as much as from meat alone. And the most "plants" and fruits you eat are so cultivated it has nothing to do with "food" anymore. Try and eat a wild grown banana...
Veganism will kill you one meal at a time. You're just lucky that you're young enough right now. Keep going and we'll see what happens. Being raw, vegan or even being vegan. You don't get enough protein. You have to take supplements. It's not a sustainable diet. I was vegan for six and a half years I I quit for health reasons and don't tell me I wasn't vegan hard enough
let's say you're right and I don't get enough protein. That would mean that I couldn't build any muscle right? Quite the opposite I would loose muscle, correct? Well since the beginning of 2023 I went from 67kg to 75kg. No change in body fat. Weird how that works... Please explain that with your logic.
There are 95yr old vegans healthier than you. Take several seats.
Carnism will kill you one meal at a time, its not a fantasy its reality in hospitals especialy.
@@ruthnne so true now. This is ridiculous now.
Boy when you start your comment with "xy diet kills you one meal at a time" you have zero credibility in bio chemistry
Try meat...
You still seem orthorexic to me.
