  • Parts of the UK hit by Storm Dennis have been warned they face further flooding this week.
    Some areas of the country were struck by winds over 90mph while more than a month's worth of rain fell in 48 hours, leading to a record number of flood warnings and alerts in England.

    The problem is that the government is no more intelligent than sky news! If your town has four foot of water in the main Street the answer is dig eight feet out of the bottom of the river and stop building on flood plains. In recent years my town has built on flood areas, unsafe hillsides and today building on an unsafe quarry face and a field that yesterday had six feet of flood water in it. With that degree of intelligence in local and central government the problem will continue.

    The truth is that it will get worse and the government can't do anything about it. Brace!

    • @silverbullet2008bb
      @silverbullet2008bb 4 года назад +5

      It's getting worse because of mass immigration. Mass immigration = more need for housing = more concreting over the countryside = less natural drainage = more flooding.

      silverbullet2008bb what? These houses are older then your immigration, and the flooded ones are natives not immigrants. This has to be the weirdest way someone has found to blame something on immigration

      Flood water is toxic. Sometimes there can also be derbies liying under the surface of the brown water, like broken glass.
