I am really enjoying it, it is kind of meditative and doesn't take up too much time. I hope to become more skilled with it in the future, so this isn't the last one!

Exquisite!! I saw this one after the octopus video you did, which was also fantastic! Unless I'm missing something, there were no guide lines/pencil lines for the outline of the dot-work mandala, meaning you did it all freehand and it still came out looking round and symmetrical. That's not an easy thing to do. Very, very impressed by your artwork. With talent like that, you could be a world-class tattoo artist. I don't know why that comes to mind, but it does. I've been around woodworking all my life, in one form or another, and this is truly something special. Thanks for sharing this with us. I hope to see more in the future.
I drew super light outlines to get at least the symmetry right. They have been nearly invisible, in fact I lost some of them by just having my hand rubbing them away while burning. They don't show in the video at all, but they have been there.
I actually tried myself in the trade of tattooing very briefly 10 years ago and while I enjoyed the artistic aspect, I absolute hated the anxiety that came with every piece. Each time I feared I would mess something up and ruin the skin of a client permanently. I also hated the fact that you are not the one in charge of the design. If a 18 year old girl wanted something stupid or ugly despite my critial opinion, well you had to do it anyways. It felt horrible, knowing that she will regret that when she matures. So I gave it up very quickly.
