- After trying pretty much every guide on RUclips and Google, and not being able to find a fix for the stuttering and frame drops, I finally found a solution. This is a quick guide to a simple fix. If this guide helps you, please like, comment, and subscribe to my channel. This guide is for AMD Radeon GPUs, so sorry if I can't help anyone who's using NVIDA.

Thank you! It was literally unplayable, every 10 seconds a giant lag spike, now none at all!
@@craftguyl3307 I'm glad it helped
Works like a charm, was supposed to increase fps and remove stress, instead added massive stutters on RoN. Amazing video keep it up!
I'm really glad this worked for you. Thanks for the comment.
@@haplas bro u didnt read the comment correctly
@@overspend It was a positive comment in my mind only haha.
@@haplas ok
DUDE... wow. Turned off the Resizable Bar (was where SAM was for you) and yep, it works! :D Thank You! This is insane, thought that thing is like a 'MUST' for better performance in gaming... wow.
It's so weird, as it's meant to help improve performance, and it was on by default. I'm glad it worked out for you.
Let try this! I cant believe my 6700xt hellhound struggling running kingdom hearts 3 in 1080p.
It's weird because it's supposed to increase frames, but turning it off made Ready Or Not playable, and it hasn't affected any other games in my library. I'm running a Radeon 7600.
@@haplas my problem is the card clock runnning at 600MHz thats why it keep stuttering n low fps, i try to set the min clock in radeon adrenaline to 1033 n the low fps is now gone. Works like charm.
@@syechalwi1645 Thanks, I'll check that out and see if I'm having the same issue. I didn't really look at my clock speed, so maybe that could be it.
WAIT, that's weird i have 67000xt too and i saw on other forum, that their 6700xt also having the same issue as us... I think SAM is glitching out on this specific GPU, like idk why this happen
What do I go if I'm an Intel person?
@@kylehendriex6282 I think it's called "Resizable Bar" for you.
Mine just says not available at the SAM
It might be that your motherboard or gpu doesn't support SAM. It might be under Resizable Bar for you. What's your gpu?
is there any similar option for nvidia users?
In the NVIDIA Control Panel, click System Information. Then, you should see Resizable Bar. Give that a go. I've nobidea if that will work though. What GPU do you have?
I have a 3070@@haplas
@@calamity6290 Thats more than good enough. It's really down to poor optimization with the game.
Man I can't find the words to say how much I owe you. Keep going mate !!
No problem. Now enjoy playing RON without the stutterfest
Bro this actually worked lol thank you. My game started to stutter for no reason after 2 weeks of playing. Thank you!!!
I'm happy it worked for you. I've no idea what the exact problem is, but it solved it haha
What English accent is that? It's very chill.
Haha thanks. I was born in Manchester but spent half my life living in Norfolk. That's south east of England. I don't have a strong Manchester accent anymore, so it's a bit of a mixture.
Also, I have noticed that for whatever reason the game looks exponentially worse in DirectX 12.
Am using a RX 6600.
In what way worse? Do you mean a smoothing effect?
@@haplas Ok so I commented that before I actually tested an in-game mission and I must say...
DX12 looks kind of blurry and messes up the lighting for me.
That said, DX11 IS more stable regarding stutters but at a cost of a much lower fps which is incredibly annoying. It does look better in my PC for some reason, though...
@@sahbiah I haven't played RON in a while, so I can't remember if I noticed any difference between DX11 and 12. All I can say is, I'm playing on 1080p, Ultra, with SAM turned off, and I'm getting 120+ frames on average. Your GPU will not get that at ultra, but you could at medium or less (possibly). The game still needs a lot of optimization, but as is the same with modern developers, content comes first. It's not how things should be done.
This might fix it for this specific game, but i recommend turning it back on when you switch to a different game.
I have it off permanently, and it hasn't had any impact on other games.
@@haplas It fixes the stutter for me in RoN but other games get 20%-50% less overall performance. I Guess It depends on the system. I have a 6700XT (RD)
@@alext4758 oh! That's crazy! That's a big dip! Thanks for the tip anyway.
Wouldn't the fix be to just play the game a lot since they dont precompile shaders
I tried that, but that's not the problem. Or at least it wasn't for me.
Mine is rx 550
I don't have this option
I'm sorry I can't help you.
Your card is really under-powered. I would look at an upgrade to at least an 8gb card.
dude. Thanks a lot this brought me some relief
Great to hear
Hey pal, any other options that could work for a RX 550? The game ain't even rendering anymore.
Isn't that 2gb card? The weakest gpu i played RON on was a 1660ti 8gb laptop gpu, and it was playable on that. I would sell that card and get at least an 8gb card, or a 6gb if you really are strapped for cash. Nothing wrong with buying a used gpu. I have a 7600, but a 6700xt, 3060, 7600, or if you want to play at 1440p on most new games as well, go for a 7700xt, 7800xt, 6800xt 6750xt, if you can find a good deal.
@@haplas It's around 6 to 4 GB.
Dude thank u so much literaly i don`t play this game for this stuttering, now finaly is fixed!!!.
Awsome! Enjoy!
saviour!
@@rubytejackson Enjoy!
Buttersmooth, thanks
Awesome! Enjoy!
Amd are very bad for direcxt 11, its very anoying with small and micro stutering in old game, when you can play the game smooth in dirext 12.. Until now i can't fix this problem amd micro stuter in direxct 11 game
Turning off SAM would result in huge chunk of performance lost on some other games, this is only a fix if you only play Ready or Not all day long.
I've had no reduction in performance in any other games. I hardly play Ready Or Not.
@@haplas Probably because the games you played just happened to not get affected by SAM, or your performance was already good enough for you that lost of performance would not be noticeable.
Either way, this is only a band-aid fix.
@@GriggsHw You might be right. But, it still works and there's no alternative. If people can play the game without issues, then it's a win. Disbling SAM will do "zero" damage to your PC.
mine says not availble im using rx 590 8gb gme
If you can't see SAM, It's because your card doesn't support it. Look for "Resizable Bar". Try disabling that.
idk what happened to me lol i did this and now ron wont even start anymore just loads a black screen and nothing happens
That's pretty weird. What are your specs?
@@haplas I take it back, i restarted my pc and now the game works fine. thank you.
@@MrBackFTW That's good to hear. Hope your frames improve!
What music are playing in the background?
I forget the exact title, but it's from White Bat Audio. You can find the channel here in YouYube.
@@haplas haha, everybody uses his audio lol. But thank you for the reply, you the man!

@@LeonKuzzy No problem. I'm happy to help.
wich card u got ?
RX 7600. Not the XT version.
Thank you so much it work !!!
Great news I'm glad it helped!
Love you
I thought with my rx 5600 xt I should run this game with no problems, but not, I got stuttering like you show in the video. In my Radeon software, smart access memory appears as not available, what else can I do?
Is there something in there called "Resizable Bar"? If so, try turning that off. I do think that your gpu doesn't have enough memory. It's 6gigs right? That could actually be the problem.
@@haplas Is that setting in Display? I have all disabled there. Yes 6GB, that may be the problem. They should update the requeriments or this game is badly optimized, anyways thank you for answer
@@osmium1803 I believe that setting is in the same place as the Smart Access Memory. And yes, the game is poorly optimised. If you can upgrade, I would go for the 7600xt. I have the non xt 8gb, but ill ulgrade it to the xt cos its has 16gb. The price is great as well.
This was a very effective fix overall thank you! Any idea if it is something to turn off as a whole or if it is specifically a Ready or Not issue?
I'm glad it worked for you! I have it turned of permanently, and I have noticed any reduction in performance is all the other games I play. That included video editing and muci production. If in doubt, I would just perform a short test with it on and off in the main games you play.
