Cool video. I’m one of them guys that lay in bed and dream of fishing a place like that. I fish steelhead on the tributaries of Lake Superior in Mn and WI. Maybe someday I’ll make it out west!
Nathaniel riesterer My view on Steelhead is to catch and release. There are some rivers that have enhancement/hatchery programs so anglers can keep a hatchery fish but up north the fishery is catch and release. Your basic licence must be validated with a Steelhead Conservation Surcharge Stamp if you intend to fish for steelhead anywhere in B.C. In addition, a Steelhead Stamp is mandatory when fishing most Classified Waters regardless of the species being angled for.
@@ReelWestCoast thanks for letting me know. I don't disagree with you, especially considering your fishing for exclusively wild fish. Thats what I'm curious about.
Yes, all wild BC Steelhead is single barbless hook C&R unless you are targeting them on the Kitimat river (which has a hatchery) and if you intend on keeping one - than you are done fishing for the day - you pack up and head home - tight lines MM
Lmao yea um I live for the tug not the annoying sound of a clicker that is not supposed to be engaged while fighting a fish. Great video but my man act like you used a pin before.
I grew up in Terrace B.C. We knew all the great fishing spots around there. Brings back great memories, keep up the great work guys!.
Truly an awesome place. That is our signature on the tent. (Ecklins)
We swing flies for those fish!!!
First time watching your show. Very well done - particularly in how the fish were landed and gently released.
Thanks for watching Chris! And thanks for the feedback.
Those are the adventures steelheaders dream about!
Absolutely! Thanks for watching.
Yes! building a lifetime of wicked steelhead memories - thanks for the opportunity Brendan - and thanks to those who have watched ;-) MM
Pure heaven, keep it coming. Loving the show, thank you so much
Thanks for watching Leni! Share it with everyone you know!! We appreciate the support.
What an unbelievable episode!!
What absolutely awesome fishing adventure, which is totally out of reach of the common guy. Good thing we can watch stuff like this and dream!
It sure felt like a dream while doing it!
Anything is possible my friend! MM

Thanks for watching! If you ever make it out west definitely consider Terrace. It’s an incredible place.
Oh man awesome video! Love that Ish spot 😉👌 Might recognize it in a couple of my videos haha. Tight lines guys! 🎣
Ahhh on the float rod 🤦♂️ Surprised Gill didn’t have the fly rods out there 🤔
They are there in the fall also. I took a 37x21 in Terrace last September 11. Just over 20#. Fish here and your dreams will come true!
The beauty of the Skeena ❤️
Hard to beat!
excellent.
I love you're show
Thank you! We love that you're watching!
Is that a Sage Z axis 7136 Spey rod you are using for the pin rod? Any modifications to it?
It's why we do it , the tug is the drug :-)
Absolutely!
May I ask why you guys use the clicker on the center pin? Just curious don't see a lot of people use it like that
The scream is fun when the fish runs and it ads an effect to the fish fight for camera. Audibly signals what is happening. Plus we like it!
Pretty annoying lol
Canadians do things backwards just to confound Americans
Imagine the take on the fly!
what river is this
Listen to the pro😂
Can you retain any winter steelhead up there?
No

Could you tell me what rods you guys are using in the episode?
It was a Sage CP3113 M
Thank you
Ah disappointing I thought this was going to be about swinging flies for steelhead....good show anyways
I want what ever that guys on
why is your clicker on? lol.... come on now, youre spooking the other fish lol
you ever try eggs?
turn the clicker off mo, your better than that :p
turn your clickers off please.
Great video until you hooked up. Dude turn the clicker off. It's not drag lmfao.
live for the scream Bob! It's fun to hear it go off and run.
Lmao yea um I live for the tug not the annoying sound of a clicker that is not supposed to be engaged while fighting a fish. Great video but my man act like you used a pin before.
There filming, the clicker brings some sense of how hard the fish are pulling. I can understand it. Although they do make a centerpinn with a drag.
Good old Bob 💘 the know it all! Lmao keep up the epic vids boys.
It’s for the show, so the audience can “hear” the fight, it’s called producing for entertainment value.
