@@ScottQ1I wouldn’t call this a “comment” over it really being unneeded whining over a video that is showing some helpful tips to some people and especially the people who associate grunge with Nirvana. Where’s your video?
@raygen578 good point, however I am still allowed to make criticism on a video without making videos but good point nonetheless. As for the helpful tips, I agree and in the future I'll try and take a more positive outlook on things such as this instead trying to call attention to the "pitfalls" and or "problems" of videos such as these. Good day, :)👍
Nice track man… I just joined a 3/pc (soon to be 4/pc) pop punk/grunge jam band and I recorded our live jams with iOS voice memo app and then upload it to GarageBand in my MacBook Air m2. It’s kinda confusing at first because I’m kinda lost on how to use it but manage to figure out the basics. I’ll took a solo/rhythm section from our drummer and bassist I recorded live and loop it. Then I’ll play along to it for like 5-10min recording on the voice memo app. Then I’ll chop parts I like and try and make a song. Basically, I’m trying to figure out how to use it at a basic level… the song isn’t the end goal because I know we can do better. It’s understanding what I can with it and what sounds good. I know GarageBand is the most simplified dumbed down version but for a true beginner it’s complicated. What do you use and would you recommend I stick with it, or should I use something else? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I’m about to get a better live amp for recording at Guitar Center in the next few weeks Boss Katana MKII 100
I went with getting an audio interface like the ART portable usb dual thingy or the stationary Focusrite 4th Gen solo or 2 port for recording guitar and vocals. Not the best for drums as you'll be limited to 1-2 mics but that's fine. That interface goes to my laptop which has "Reaper" DAW (digital-audio workstation) to edit and record. I used to record with my digital pedalboard's looper effect and save it to usb to then open usb on laptop but found direct recordings with the audio interface the best. I record with all effects and pedals/sounds as close to what im going for so i do minimal editing later as im no good at that stuff
Hey i just released my first album, called life death rebirth by memento. Im completely independent and never took lessons but i had a blast and just wanna get some traction
I wouldn't call this "How to make grunge" over it really being "How to make Nirvana"
I wouldn't call this "How to make Nirvana" over it really being "How to make Lithium by Nirvana but change it up"

@@SillyMovies-x6m about the first thing, or the response to the response, or both?
I love how you get straight to the point, quick explanations but they’re very clear, good job you’ve earned a sub👍🔥
happy to see a fellow south african making this kind of content⚡️
Mm me too..
I really want to start up a grudge band but I am only one person, I wanna learn my stuff good before I try to form a band 💗
Tell me you haven't heard any grunge apart from Nirvana's Nevermind without telling me exactly that
This really helped me and my Nirvana inspired band thank u
My guy, where's Layne Staley 😭
Alice in chains is still being debated if they're grunge or just alternative metal
There grunge and nirvana is better
Whether they’re grunge or not, they’re still part of the big 4 of grunge

Just create alot of power chords with a mini simple solo

Awesome video man. Great sounding stuff xD
Come as you are in the start was good choice
You forgot the Melvins!

Can we make a band
Awesome dude, I think it needs open hats in the chorus, for more energy, but it sounds great though
Do you record your guitar parts by micing your amp or do you do just do DI?
i like to mic my amp but sometimes i like to DI, both work and sound amazingly.
@@OLIVERZASLEEP Thanks, I've only really started learning to track guitars so your channel has been helpful
sounds great!!
Damn track came out awesome bro nice work just needs some lyrics 🔥
What is the background song at the beginning?
It's actually a song of mine, its currently unreleased but I'm planning on releasing a collection of unreleased songs on bandcamp soon!
