Moore's fight scenes had more of a comedy twist than Connery's, where Moore prevails but only after taking a few shots himself. The look before delivering the "not from where I'm standing" line is brilliant.
In the DVD commentary they mentioned that they could've digitally removed the crew reflection when remastering the film, but decided in the end to leave it in to avoid tampering.
One of Roger Moore's best fight scenes. He shows a brutal side to Bond's character by smashing a guy's head into a wall during the fight. Later in the film, he slaps Maude Adam's character around. Sorry for the spoiler.
A lot of people frowned at slapping Maud. Meh. By todays standards, its bad, but back then, you do what you have to, to get the information you're looking for.
i watched the Red Notice(2021) in netflix today one with the the rock ryan reynolds and gal gadot is starring. And i can say that this is scene is better than the every fight scene in red notice in every way
Who cares if you can see the camera crew? I thought the music, intensity and how quick / compact it was makes it one of the best (if not the best) JB fight scene of all time.
@SonnyCorleone100 i believe tht the bald headed man was the owner of the club if u seen the movie when the women get up to band he get jealous or mad and calls his bodyguard over and this was the result
@SonnyCorleone100 well if u have remastered disc 2 of dr.no they talk about it and and said we ask if u want us to delete tht , u we have to find out in the movie
that blooper at the mirror is not that bad - it all goes that fast that nobody notice that without knowing - it is much worse with FRWL when the chpper explode and you can see one technian trying to hide in front of connery
Decent fight scene. Obviously Roger wasn't as lithe as Dalton Lazenby or Connery but he handled himself decently here. You missed the scene where he nabs a taxi and says the nearest Pharmacy (or he uses the term used in England which escapes me this minute).
No, it's pretty good. Aside from the brief shot of the cameraman in the mirror, the rest of the fight is exciting, well-choreographed, and surprisingly brutal for a 70's Bond film. The fact that Moore had the debonair good looks and sly sense of humor that used to be a prerequisite for the part doesn't take away from how refreshingly rough and gritty this fight was. Had it have been Dalton or Craig, I bet fans of the dark and serious Bond would be jumping up and down over how "realistic" this movie is.
a question: Suppose that the second attempt was not interrupted by those three, that bond would have done if he would leave with a smile and a bullet in his mouth, and Said was without realizing that they had an empty belly?
Not gonna lie, whenever I watched this film as a kid something about Bond smashing the guy’s head against the wall at 0:23 always felt so horrible to watch. Think it’s the yelps and the sound of his head hitting the wall… Great fight scene though. It’s not even a Bond movie I like that much.
it think it was stupid when asked by the company restoring and making these films look and sound better if they wanted that part of the crew deleted out eon or Michael Wilson said no with films like james bond you shouldent have misakes like tht i wish they did

Got to love Mr. Moore!
The first tough guy who hit Bond in the back was one of Elliot's henchman in "Tomorrow Never Dies" and he's also one of Joker's goons in Batman 1989.
One of Roger Moore's best fights as James Bond!
R.I.P. Roger Moore.....
Garren Lazar his best fight scene! I miss him! ❤️
0:15 say hello to the cameraman!
Say hello to fucking everybody! I think the craft services guy was in the shot too. Was that the best take they had?
That was very poorly done.
In the DVD commentary they mentioned that they could've digitally removed the crew reflection when remastering the film, but decided in the end to leave it in to avoid tampering.
Very good fight scene with Roger Moore
Marvellous fight scene with Roger Moore Who excecute all fight of movie

Spoiler? This film is from 1974!
I agree. My favorite old school bond fight. Some broadcasts of this movie edit the part where he slams the guys head in the wall
I'm amazed the camera crew didn't get hit.
They were so close they were reflected in the mirror
AAH! I've Lost My Charm!
Not From Where I'm Standing
Haha. Love the hairspray in the face. Moore was the most clever of all the Bonds for sure.
I love Moore's resourcefulness. It is so lacking in today's Bond. All Craig does these days is run and shoot.
Good, violent fight
With a bit of comedy thrown in.
Lol you grow up watching films like this thinking thats what fights are like and then you get into one
i watched the Red Notice(2021) in netflix today one with the the rock ryan reynolds and gal gadot is starring. And i can say that this is scene is better than the every fight scene in red notice in every way
The beggining thou, the fact that these original james bond movies had half naked girls and they had the balls to put PG on the front cover.
at 0:15 you can see the film crew in the mirror
Last James bond movie directed by guy Hamilton, the guy also did the WW2 classic battle of britain
haha love when a camera crew accidentally comes out in a movie :D
Who cares if you can see the camera crew? I thought the music, intensity and how quick / compact it was makes it one of the best (if not the best) JB fight scene of all time.
I wonder who they were.
The lady is so beauty🧜🏻♀️✨
I love the weird grunting noises the bald man makes when he's restraining Bond.
2:24-2:26 Saida's moans, he seems to be making love
Comments regarding the crew in the mirror. Saw this in the cinema (uk) and TV and I never noticed it. 🙈
you cant really see the man in the mirror cause its so fast.
On peut voir toute l'équipe de tournage dans le miroir aux secondes 15 et 16 !
You can see the camera in the mirror at '15 and '16 !
0:15 The Cameraman in the background
I never noticed it until now.
Ever heard the term "eat a bullet"? Took it a little too literally.
@SonnyCorleone100 i believe tht the bald headed man was the owner of the club if u seen the movie when the women get up to band he get jealous or mad and calls his bodyguard over and this was the result
0:15 they knock a mirror and you can see the film crew filming.
Nice camera crew
camera crew at :12-.16.
i saw that too, wasn't even looking for it, i can't believe they didn't re-shoot that
they cant really move the camera away because the rooms so small
@SonnyCorleone100 well if u have remastered disc 2 of dr.no they talk about it and and said we ask if u want us to delete tht , u we have to find out in the movie
I think they might be Saida's panderers... Also I can't imagine they're anemy agents sent by Scaramanga or something else...
pause at 0:16 -- hello camera crew :)
U can see the crew in the mirror 😂
Maybe it was left in deliberately. It's got us talking about it.
What's the hole movie i wanna watch it
The Man With The Golden Gun

nah .... he was best for James Bond
@anton1990 hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
00:07 00:13 00:20 00:51 00:56
How unrealwas the kick!? LOL
Is Moore's 007 the only one who got hit with a bottle?
0:27 Hitchcock attacks!
He was more brains than Brawn, different stance. Prefer connery and craig for more manliness
Decent fight scene. Obviously Roger wasn't as lithe as Dalton Lazenby or Connery but he handled himself decently here. You missed the scene where he nabs a taxi and says the nearest Pharmacy (or he uses the term used in England which escapes me this minute).
Without seeing the clip again to confirm, "a chemist" perhaps?
@@voice_of_reason5604 that sounds plausible
By far Moore's best fight scene, and it's still mediocre.

Ridiculous fight scene, matching the rest of the film. Listen to the score - even John Barry had run out of gas by this time!
Since Scaramanga was apparently trained by the KGB, I figure these guys are trying to keep Bond from trailing him. I figure.
a question: Suppose that the second attempt was not interrupted by those three, that bond would have done if he would leave with a smile and a bullet in his mouth, and Said was without realizing that they had an empty belly?

and then Bond went on to get taxi cab ride to the pharmacy (not the hotel yet.).
this was quite good

00:56 00:51 00:07 00:13 00:19
PAUSE AT 0:15 TO SEE THE CREW IN THE MIRROR LOL
You can see the cameraman in the mirror at 0:15!
Also why are these men trying to kill Bond?
I guess they were jealous of bond with the belly dancer girl. The fat 1 must be her boss/boyfriend
0:16 camera
1:18 after Bond's visit Saida dances without a talisman and stinking
0:35 Hitchcook goes Shrek!
