This may possibly be one of my favorite songs you've ever written. I love the rawness, the rifts, the melody and eerie sound, its like you're in a zombie flick. The vocal rang of Elena is so great too and it just adds to the depth of the song.. I'll never forget this telephone easter egg, especially hearing that creepy voice on the other side of the phone.
I’m pretty sure the game over songs were meant to be prototypes of the next maps Easter egg song. Fun fact: Kino was meant to be a WaW map which makes more sense when Der Reise’s game over song is 115 so Five was actually meant to be the launch map for Bo1 Zombies

Instead of “Temple of Doom” themed it was going to be based on Vietnam and include a lot of special zombie types, some of which similar to the L4D series. However because Dlc 4 for WaW was cancelled, Kino had to be the next map. As a result, Shang and the other WaW maps “Paris” and “Coast” all ended up being pushed back and reworked in some way. So when you think about it all Bo1 maps except for Five and Ascension were all “lost” zombies maps. Cool right?

some people like singing the lyrics of songs without said lyrics actually playing. in most cases, they need a reference like this to know the words they'll be using.
OG zombies really made you feel like all hope was lost, but you weren’t going down without a fight. The wonder weapons helped, the perks would buy you a few extra rounds, and the traps gave you an emergency moment to breathe and reload the LMGs. There was no Easter egg to beat the map. No OP Easter egg rewards. Packapunch was a farewell parting gift for making it to the last map. Zombies wasn’t about winning. It was about preparing yourself for your final stand, and handing out the last final ass whooping to an Easter Egg song like these when you get a feeling like it may be your last round.
As this song starts I can't help but imagine a hanging body going back and forward like the one in the starting room. It really fits the Zombies atmosphere and is by far my favourite song in all Zombies, gives chills to this day.

I transcend every time i hear that amazing guitar from 0:21 - 0:42 . this is My most Favorite Zombies song of all time. Its funny cause my most favorite map of all time IS Verruckt, although the Easter egg song is on Shi No Numa, the game over theme is on Verruckt and hearing that for the first time as a kid made me fall in love with the zombies franchise as a whole. New zombies is shit. The only zombies i can tolerate to the max is BO2s Zombies because at least they kept the regular Formula in BO4 & BO3 they did too much and there like no options so it’s like wtf.
