I made this cupcake today and all I can say is...oh my _goodness_ it's absolutely _amazing._ The tart jam helped balance the sweetness of the peanut butter, and although I was slightly afraid the frosting would not firm up in my country's heat (I live in Singapore, haha), it turns out I had nothing to worry about. The peanut butter frosting was so tasty even my mom ate everything, and she normally hates sweet things! Definitely would bake this again and again. Thank you so much for this awesome recipe, Nick! :3

I didn't realize people could have anxiety about some other people possibly seeing them eat. Never occurred to me! But, there's no reason we have to see you eat your own cupcake; that seems odd also. I like the way you do it with the cupcake cross-section. Those are WONDERFUL!!
Nick, take that peanutbutter mixture and place in on the bottom of the cupcake liner. Then pour the batter over top, bake them. Then core the cupcakes and fill them with jam. Then proceed as you did with the rest. Wish me luck mate!
Hmm, not sure of that would work, the peanut butter would go weird if it was exposed to that much heat and probably change on flavour. Much refer it in the frosting. But good luck. 👍🏼

I do taste test them as I'm baking and testing out recipes so I know they taste really good but I just don't feel comfortable tasting them on camera. I love both cake and frosting.I can eat cake on each ow n(together with some coffee.my favourite) but I don't like eating frosting with a spoon like some do :p Btw I tried pb once and I hated.It was the pb ben & jerry's ice cream.I want to try again but plain on some bread maybe.
I usually prefer the cupcake because I find most frostings too sweet (Asian tooth, haha...), but if it's something like chocolate ganache I won't hesitate to eat the whole thing.
I love eating the frosting but the cake just gives it....well it just evens out the sweetness of the frosting. Well to answer your question I love eating the whole cupcake, hands down. You know the cookie monster..well I'm the cupcake monster....ha ha.
