- A father and son have been arrested in the killings of pregnant teenager Savanah Soto and her boyfriend after their bodies were found in a car in Texas last week, police say.
The Mom said we were all spreading misinformation. Hello, we saw one photo and could sum up real quick what he was. Normal people don't take photos with stacks of cash and gold grills. Mama is in denial.
Agree. There was also a photo of him holding guns in one hand and his arm around his girl while she took the photo. And she looked about 9mos pregnant in that photo. Yet the family says the son was changing his life around. 🤦♂️

Why would the boyfriend take his pregnant wife to a potentially dangerous drug deal. Wonder if he thought those involved with the drug dealing would be less likely to get violent with him with a pregnant woman in the car. I guess we will never know. This is so sad.

No, a lot of people were saying that when they first saw that footage, but they failed to look at the odds of a woman doing something like that, since women are less likely to be involved with a drug murder.

we don't know and I don't like speculating but I have a very strong feeling that This was not her very first time tagging along for a drug run. Maybe it was! idk. but I highly highly doubt it because all those photos of her and him both with guns lots of cash and the likes oh not to mention they BOTH in photos are throwing up gang signs. I'm not saying she was a drug dealer but I'm saying she knew what was going on she wasn't completely innocent and she put her baby in danger with those photos alone!!

He didn't love her too much considering he had a temporary restraining order against him for beating her up and was on probation for violating that order. She shouldn't have been anywhere near him.

People run from cops because they didn't want to get a speeding ticket...causes a freak accident and people die. Sometimes the person doing the running away dies too. All for a speeding ticket. I figured it would end up being something like this. Basically drug related killings. I used to babysit a sweet 9 year old girl and her 6 month old baby brother, when I was 13 years old, but her stepdad was always home when I was taking care of them. The mother worked for Rapid Transit District in Los Angeles from 3- midnight every day. I lived in the apartment directly under their apartment, but I always took care of the children from 4-9pm until I would put Kelly in bed and her stepdad would come in to say goodnight. One day I was leaving for school at the usual time and I noticed a car parked directly across the street from our apartment building and there was a man sitting in the driver’s seat and I got a really weird feeling that something was wrong. The thought went away by the time I got to the bus stop and when I came home from school I went upstairs to watch the children like I did every single day, but for the first time ever the dad told me that he didn’t need me to watch them that day. I didn’t think much about it, but as the night progressed some things started happening. Nothing was clicking in my mind until Gwen, the mother came home from work at 12:15 AM like she did every night and I was sound asleep in my bed, but then I started hearing a woman screaming and I thought I was dreaming at first until I was fully awake and I realized that this was really happening. She was on the balcony that looked down into the courtyard of the building and had the baby in her arms and was screaming that “somebody killed them” over and over again.
I ran upstairs and entered the apartment and everything had been turned upside down, I mean all the furniture, etc.! This was in 1977 so there was brown shag carpeting, but I could see Michael laying face down in the hallway, so I started walking towards Kelly’s bedroom, but my mom grabbed my shoulder from behind and yelled for me to get out of there. Sadly, Kelly was also killed in her bed, but these were apparently revenge attacks by someone, because of the way they were unalived. I think I went into shock by the time the police were everywhere, helicopters, news media outlets, etc.! Things like this weren’t common in 1977 so it was the leading news story and on the front page of all the major Los Angeles newspapers that next morning, because the suspects had gotten away. I had run into both of them earlier in the evening, but didn’t think anything about it, but it was obvious that they were the killers. My mom was terrified that they would come back for me since I could identify them, so we moved within 2-3 weeks. They finally caught them in Washington State months later, and I went to trial 4 years later for the L.A. District Attorneys Office when I was 18 years old, and the trial was starting. They both were found guilty. That precious little girl and I shared the same first name, and she was like a little sister to me. To this day I’ll never understand why her stepdad didn’t ask me to take the children down to my apartment, because he knew something was up, or I would have been there. Sigh…😢 Gwendolyn, the mother moved back to Detroit with the baby boy to be with her family, and I was recently thinking that Michael Jr. was now 57 years old and grew up without his father. Now I’m close to 61 years old but not a month goes by without me remembering this tragic incident. It changed me forever…Nowadays it’s an everyday occurrence, but in 1977 it was something still rare, even in Los Angeles. Please stay safe and healthy…

@@roxyj3182 yes it was absolutely horrific to a 13 year old young girl to have to deal with this tragedy. I remember the detectives coming to my junior high school and taking me out of class to look at dozens and dozens of mug shots of different men in hopes that I would recognize the 2 murderers. Back then they didn’t have any kind of counseling or therapy for someone like me who went through this. I was just expected to go on with my life as normal as I possibly could, but I’m grateful that children now have some sort of psychological support when they’re victims of violent crimes. I knew he would be found quickly. I told my dad; they would identify this fat man in the truck really quick. He was the one wiping down the fingerprints from the victim's car. Thank you, Jesus, for the cameras that caught these animals committing this horrendous crime and hope justice is swift and puts those involved away for life. RIP to Savanah and her baby. My condolences to her Parents and her loved ones.

It was reported she had a new car seat in her lap when they found her deceased. It's quite possible, she may have not known her boyfriend was going to make that stop before going to the hospital. We don't know for sure. We may never know. Be safe. 🕊

I'm not sure what kind of life the baby would have being with drugs dealing parents and in such dangerous environment, or if he/she grew up orphaned knowing his parents killed by members of a gang, would he blame his bad luck on the gang and waste his life on revenging, or follow his parents' step to become drugs dealer? Maternity patients and newborns are drug tested and, if positive, CPS is called and the infants are placed in state custody. They are then placed with educated, trained, mature foster parents who have passed extensive local, state and federal background checks. What you call the system I call a Godsend. There is nothing worse than viewing autopsy photos of abused and neglected babies and I've viewed hundreds. Have you? Death of an infant is never preferable to being born to drug users or dealers. Her brother was killed a few years ago as a teenager (I dont know the details how). Now she was about to have a kid and be a teenage mom, which already almost destroys a woman's chance that she would never make it into a long-term, financially independent career. This time the pregnant girlfriend and his boyfriend go to a drug deal at night.

I am really curious HOW the killers didn't hide the bodies well enough and run after they did what they did? Were these murders, not their first rodeo that they so casually left the bodies and car out in the open and they kept going about their lives without fearing getting caught? I’m not sure how days could go on by and mom not have contact with daughter, especially if she’s due to give birth. I’m in contact with my daughter on a daily basis, my daughters are everything to me, I would know immediately if something was wrong if I didn’t get ahold of my daughter.

because it has only two possible penalties:
capital punishment (the death penalty) and
life in prison without the possibility of parole.
They will go for the death penalty because of that unborn baby. So so 😔 sad.

Teach your kids right. These guys are all victims of misguided youth on both sides. Parents need to realize that they can actually impact their children's future by being present and not glorifying crime for money lifestyles. It's sad, but these young people are all victims of a culture that praises crime for money lifestyles. Teach your kids about the value of life and integrity and not to throw your future away for pictures with stacks of cash.

They say if you sale drugs you're only gonna die or end up in prison.. so why are people surprised when it happens? This is just awful I can't imagine what kind of reasoning they would have for doing this. If the father it would have just called 911 who knows if they could have saved that poor baby. But I am glad that the families can now bury their children knowing that the people are behind bars hopefully for life

I think this kid just wanted to kill. I don’t feel it was necessarily a drug deal gone “bad.” it was definitely a drug deal, but I think he had planned to kill him the entire time. The only reason why I feel that it was something that went bad his due to the Manor where they were $hot from behind. I think he simply hopped in the backseat, grabbed the drug$ and $hit them. I don’t even think there was an altercation at this point. I think it was fast and over with.
I think both deserve the death penalty, but as mentioned here, why would the boyfriend and why would the girlfriend choose a boyfriend that’s involved with drug deals? It makes no sense.
