- HIIII I’m so excited to be posting this.
Sooo, me, navya, sagar and anirudh have been selected by our college based off our 1st,2nd and 3rd year marks to go on a sponsored international elective (trip xD) to France.
We attend hospital from 9-2 Monday-Friday and visit different countries on Saturday-Sunday.
We live alone and honestly, the adulting feels great :) I’d love to talk more about this experience on a video later.
But as of now, here’s how a typical day looks for a bunch of dumb/smart ass people (with crazy imposter syndrome) finally enjoying life to its fullest :D

Does KMC manipal send their students only to France for electives or does it differ every year?

@@shresthgupta1839 heyy I don’t have a lot of knowledge about hamdard institute but kmc is great, if finances aren’t an issue, you should go for it

heyy I yes a great college w a lot of usmle based resources, the top 5 students based on merit get to go on sponsored electives :)

@@Nishh..0666 hey, state quota is available for kmc mangalore so you can definitely try for that, there are a lot of people who’ve matched in surgery with kmc manipal :)

are international electives a regular thing in your college? Becaue i never heard of it before
yeah a lot of people go for electives by themselves, they get attendance claims for the same too,
but this one was college sponsored, so it’s done once an year for select members of the 4th year batch

Diii Can you tell me whether I can do post graduation from outside India after MBBS and can I get scholarship along with it? Can I get scholarship through USMLE? I want to do post graduation from outside India but my financial condition is not very good.

hello! you can do it outside india, scholarships depend on the hospital you match with outside.
Since USMLE step 1 is pass and fail, unlikely for there to be any scholarship.
But there is no tuition fees if I’m not wrong, so you’ll only have to pay for the exams and the travel/stay.

hey i am a general candidate, it’s 14 lpa for us, nri is around 57 lpa
