    Please don't miss what he said in the beginning about disappointment when your pipeline is not filled. I didn't have mine filled and with having 1-3 appointment days maybe twice a week if I didn't make a sale it really hurt especially if you are commission only. In hindsight it makes sense but in the moment when you are only concerned about how much you dread cold calling or knocking on doors you won't have enough leads because you are not doing the activity CONSISTENTLY which equals less appointments and fewer sales.

      Santiago, how is your business doing now after five years? I just started a advertising agency and have no pipeline, I'm looking to change that, I have to cold call/cold email, have to start some where.

    A lot of people mistake prospecting as selling but it's not. As Jarrod says, you are trying to get yourself out there. Just remember how you felt when someone called you trying to sell you something - how did you feel and react!
    Have been viewing and listening to Jarrod and Uncle G and learning something new every time. If you think you know everything, then you are kidding yourself - make the calls. The better the relationship, the better conversion rate and reduces the risk of having to deal with price objections.

      @@Emsyaz If you think getting married is a solution to being sad, I'd recommend looking at it like buying a single stock. If you bought a single stock and that stock fell to $0.00 in 7 years on average, would you recommend it? (the average marriage in the U.S. lasts 7 years) It's far better to have "AT WILL" relationships that do not put you at risk of noteworthy financial loss.
