- In this Episode of Broken Silvia we finally get to pick up the R34 Skyline and begin the rebuild! Throughout the summer months the poor car sat in the corner collecting dust and cooking in the sun. The car was straight away sent over to Pep's workshop (panel beater and fellow neighbour) to replace the existing radiator support.

Just to clarify! In most countries it is easy to re-register an unregistered vehicle (US for example) that has been in an accident while in Australia it is a bit of a process. We have strict rules and guidelines to follow for an unregistered vehicle with an accident history before it can be approved for registration. Yes, this R34 was in an accident and insurance paid out the previous owner but it is still registered and has a 'No Write Off Record'. This is a huge bonus as all I do is pay a yearly fee even though I am not driving the car which is a bummer. Everybody has seen the damage by now so having a 'No Write Off Record' on paper for re-sale purposes doesn't mean much. In saying that the car will never go for sale. Hope that explains a few things to overseas viewers :D

Insane to see how you guys fixed that front end, looked proper wrecked. Hope this channel blows up soon, you deserve it! If I could make a suggestion though, if you title the video Rebuilding a wrecked R34 Skyline or something like that, it might get more hits. Rebuild channel/videoes are really hot now on youtube. Anyways cant wait for the next video!

A new paint job,and about 50 grand in moss and this car win decimate all. I cant remember the exact line

SUBSCRIBED! not only the GTR build caught my attention, but recently I had to rebuild my car's front end on my garage and it took months, almost a year. because I had to figure out on my own how to do basically everything you just did in this video. I almost teared up right now finding out I did things how they should be done for the front end to line up and fit correctly.

It is true when they say if you can dedicate the time and love into any car that takes it from current state to a fully functioning form of automotive art, no matter how much money and problems burned through along the way... it reminds you in the end that it was worth every penny spent and every step that was taken.
Dude you are 100% right. This car will be more than just a build. The build will take a while and episodes will be as good as I can make them but I’ve got something bigger in mind once the car is done.. just gonna have to wait and see one day

I'm from the UK and I'm also doing a poor man's GTR! using GTR panels. And just today I've started welding in my new slam panel and cross member due to rust and a small accident. GTR rear fenders will be delivered next week, so I will need to get the rear screen and side glass removed.

Fascinating watching that guy pull that car back into shape! Makes several pulls and you don't really see much progress, then he makes that one pull and the whole thing just magically unfolds back almost original. What a pro!

Randomly came across your videos, and I must say you got some good content. My dream since I was a kid is to own a R34 one day and watching your videos is huge motivation. I live in the US so I got a few more years until they’re legal here. Looking forward to see more videos and the finished product of your skyline!
Awesome man! 34’s are timeless. Only problem with them becoming legal in the US is that prices might jump up
Hope you have deep pockets. 34 gtrs are currently 100k+ NZD. And going on history, when the 32s became american fed legal they tripled in value. Can absolutely guaruntee the same will happen with r34s and there was less of them made.
RBSchassis no doubt, I know the value on them is going to jump. Hoping to come across the right one for the right price. If anything, I’ll just buy a GTR and call it a day 😂
