I bought 3 quart-size Mini Mauvettes this spring. I can't wait to watch them mature.
Good video now I see the difference between them it helps me to pick what I like to have in my garden. Thank you and nice work!
So enjoyed your presentation. I have watched a few of your other videos and am now a new subscriber! Thank you for sharing your love of gardening and also the helpful links! 😊

All your hydrangeas are georgous. They are my favourites too. Can't get enough of looking at them. Love this video, so peaceful watching you plant and so beautiful. More of these please. 🌺🌼🏵️
I love love your hydrangeas. Your oakleaf is so beautiful. Never saw one that healthy at my local nurseries.
Nice 👍 flower plants 🌹🌹
Lovely. You do a great job!!! Love your videos.
Hydrangea plants are my favorite plants too!
Beautiful video! I think my new favorite thing might be watching you plant plants while listening to beautiful music 😊 Hydrangeas are one of my faves.
I love hydrangeas! Your garden looks beautiful!
Gorgeous!
Such nice size plants! I always start small and have to wait. I do have three though that my late mother in law gave me 26 years ago, and they are large and thriving. I’m excited for you that you’ll have a variety of blooms all summer long. Looks gorgeous! Enjoy. 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌱
What a beautiful video. The planting and music were very relaxing. Thank you. I love hydrangeas almost better than any other flowering plant and your garden is gorgeous. Tfs. 👏🏻💕👏🏻
Awesome, I am also planting a hydrangea garden! I have many of the same ones. I can’t wait to see what they do next year. Hugs and love from Texas!
Love your videos..So soothing...I'm a huge Hydrangea lover as well..
Beautiful choices. I just bought a Limetta hydrangea from Home Depot a few days ago. I couldn't believe it. I have been looking for 1 for years and stumbled across one. I also have 2 Bobo 's 2 Little Limes and 2 Lime lights. I'm in zone 6 and they haven't bloomed yet. I can't wait until July😁.
Happy gardening!!! Love the music
Loved it. Proven Winners has so many beautiful hydrangeas and plants in general.
I totally agree Garden Doodles! I'm always amazed by their selection!
Beautiful....... and your mother makes beautiful music. ❤️
Thank you Vicki! I agree she certainly does!
I totally get what you mean about the lacecaps! They do make our hearts flutter. They’re so so pretty. (Many plants do that to me, especially fall colour)
Love them all!
beautiful flower.
Such amazing beauty these different varieties bring :) I just bought my first it is the “blue jangles”
I am new to your channel and I'm loving it you are awesome
Nice garden
You are incredibly easy to listen to. Heard your voice, took one look at your gorgeous garden and hit the subscribe button...lol.
Hi love all the flowers so beautiful i am new to your channel.
Beautiful! Girl, I have to let you know I was watching your amaryllis video on my phone and this video on my iPad AT THE SAME TIME! Lol. I think I have cabin fever. Can’t wait til spring. And why are you so high on the preferred video list? Friendly, informative, same interests, and anyone who has a furball of any kind running around in their video gets auto preference. ☺️☺️ but yeah, I’m loving your vibe. No north lawn flower farm video goes unwatched.
I live the color combination you chose. I have blue and pink. I prefer blue ir purple. I have to main my soil. Thanks so much for sharing 🙂
Oh I agree! Nothing like true blue in the garden!
Thank you so much
So amazing !! I am trying to do a hydrangea garden!!!
Ur plants are super beautiful
And u r gorgeous cute
Adoro ..
They look amazing together🥰 I, too, added a few hydrangeas this year, they are such great plants!
What kind did you plant garden friend🌸🌸🌸?
Northlawn Flower Farms I planted 6 Bobos, 2 Tuff Stuff and 4 Annabelles😆❤️ And thinking about adding another Tuff Stuff Hydrangea to replace a rose that is not doing well this year.
@@Dahliaismypassion Woohoo!!!! I bet that is gorgeous! Please let me know how you like Bobo's. I've been curious how they hold as a cut flower compared to Limelight.
Northlawn Flower Farms I do like Bobos! Never used them as cut flowers though. They already have buds and I am in zone 5. So we will find out soon😀
I haven’t seen or heard of the Invincible Limetta. I want to look into it. It sounds really pretty.
Invincible spirit hydrangea 2 is that one plant ? So beautiful!! I love all the ones you planted I’m getting ready to plant a few hopefully I can still find them full like you did
Amazing! I guess they don't get much sun. In Greece you need to plant them in a shady spot.
Those are going to be show stoppers!
I'm new subscriber. I love the sound of your voice n the choice of the background sound. Your garden looks fantastic too. I'm in Canada. I love seeing this type of plants everywhere. What is the best fertilizer???? To promote bloom?
Thanks for sharing. You have some very pretty hydrangeas. How do you keep them from flopping especially after rain?
Everything is so beautiful. Have u heard of the wedding bouquet hydrangea . I have them .they are great for beginner gardeners . Very easy to gro and they spread like crazy
Can you do a video on how to make a banquet from hydrangea?
I will definitely do that this summer!
This plant is the one I have had the most problems with in my new garden in Texas. We get you to 100 here. I thought I had them in enough shade but moved them to my porch for now. L o st flowers but plants doing better. I need to know which plants in the Hydranga are tak ed more sun and stay small. I am in zone 8.
New Hydrangea fans. Hope to get tips, starting with this video. Thank you.
I love your mulch! What brand is it and where can it be purchased? I also love all of your hydrangeas, too!
Hi there, thank you for your video. I just subscribed to your channel and am hoping to watch some more of your content. I am wondering how you keep the pink and blue colours in the one bed? Do hydrangeas change colour according to the soil? Can you amend the soil around each individual plant? Grateful in advance for the advice.
Wow! I love them all. Which one is your favorite?
Oh how beautiful your gardens are,, I only have two hydrangeas and I don’t get many blooms,, they are living but not thriving. Maybe I have then In the wrong area
And/or they need fertilizer.
Sorry to hear about your grandmother. I'll cont to purchase proven winners for your grandma
Absolutely beautiful! Love all varieties. Would be helpful to explain how each blooms....on old wood or new wood, etc. did you use any fertilizer when you planted? Thanks for sharing.
Hello! Thank you so much for saying this - I do wish I had pointed that out - my apologies! Big leaf, mountain, and oakleaf bloom on old wood. Panicle and smooth bloom on new wood. I do not use any fertilizer when planting - but all my beds get a layer of homemade compost in the spring and fall. Hope you have a wonderful day!
Hi, your hydrangeas are so beautiful! I have an established hydrangea which blooms very well. I bought 2 small potted hydrangea plants last summer from Home Depot which grew bigger with nice leaves now. But they are not blooming yet. What should I do to make them bloom? Please advice.
Cute video. Question- Aren’t the plants a bit too close to one another? Looks good now but what about in a few years? They may all double in size..
I’m new to growing Hydrangeas as this is my first garden with shade. I’m a little jealous, as we can’t buy such large specimens here in Sth Australia. Ours come in tiny pots as baby plants. I’d love to be able to plant out a bed and get such a sudden spectacular display. How can you grow pink and blue in same bed when one needs acidic soil and the other alkaline?
I live in north Alabama and want to start a part shade flower Bed. Can I plant some hydrangeas in July? Lots of rain this spring.
Daniel, I’ve never seen such beautiful hydrangeas. Do you know which nursery they were ordered from?
❤️❤️❤️
Lovely Hydrangea plants :) I've grown cuttings for Hydrangea, Hebe, Buddleia, Spirea & Lavender. Most of these are on my channel header and I made a new Hebe video which shows these cuttings on their journey into big shrubs/plants. Happy Growing :)
Can you share what direction this border is situated toward? Is it on the east side of the building?
Hello. How do you keep the grass from coming up even with mulch?
Another question. Had blue Hydranga put furtuli,er on it for Hydranga and flowers all turned green????
❤
Hi! What sun exposure do these get? Is this East facing?
😍
The most relaxing music! Can you link it for me, please!!!
Hi, do you have any videos from your cut flowers arrangement?
Hello! I have this one on making a hand tied bouquet and there is another on how to create a bouquet with meaning ruclips.net/video/yN7s9-3oxiQ/видео.html
Danielle you said your garden is only 4 years old, did you grow everything from seed?
Hi Vernell! All the annuals I grow from seed. The perennials I've acquired from family, friends, and farm stands. I buy the shrubs and trees
I just moved into a new to me house where the previous owners planted six hydrangeas that are mature. Do they have a life span?. Some look great but some are spindly (too much shade?) and so I need to prune. When I lived in zone 4 I cut them back quite a bit but now I am in NC zone 8 - how much should I prune? Should I try to move the struggling ones or prune the trees above, which I like otherwise.
Hi there! Can you let me know what kind of hydrangea you have? Big leaf, smooth, oakleaf, mountain, or panicle? I have two old big leafs as well. My understanding is that they could be 40 years old from neighbors. Panicle and smooth can take a hard cut back. Although it's not normally recommended to cut back big leaf hard, when we first moved here I did cut hard on one that was struggling. You won't see any blooms the year you cut it back. By the third year after pruning it was looking good. Here's a good article from the University of Maryland - extension.umd.edu/hgic/topics/guide-pruning-hydrangeas#:~:text=Sometimes%20bigleaf%20hydrangeas%20become%20overgrown,live%20stems%20with%20flower%20buds.
@NorthernFlowerFarms Thanks for thé reply. There are three blue big leafs, about 5’x5’ and two laceleafs, also blue. I checked out your link. I will just cut out dead wood in spring. 😉
What zone are you in ? My hydrangeas.are about 5” tall (no I didn’t take any old would off)
Hello! Im in zone 6B.
What size were these? 5 gallons?
Golly the size of the growth in those pots…cost a bit I bet. Beautiful
Can you tell me please if invincible spirit 2 steams are strong and don’t flop after rain? Alsô how tall is yours please
Thank you s see So much
Yes! Very strong! No flopping at all. Nothing like the older Annabelle (I have that one also and it does flop).
@@NorthlawnFlowerFarm
Thank you so much!
Please.. what is the dimensions of your border? I will choose my spot. THANKS
Hi, can you spell the name of the giant hydrangea in the back, you say hoss heller 8:51, something like that. Thank you !
Hello! It's a Haas Halo Hydrangea.
@@NorthlawnFlowerFarm thank you very very much ! ❤❤❤
I had to stop and replay this video three times (distractions/interruptions) and you got three ad plays out of me. I hope your channel is monetized! 💲💰💸
Is your soil acidic or alkaline? It'll be interesting to see the color of the blooms of the serrata and the macrophylla next year. Right now, they're different but next year, they should match (unless you amend the soil around one of them). That's gonna be interesting. Thanks!
Why did you just make a music video, instead of telling us what you are planting and why and where etc. How frustrating! I want to know as you are doing it. I dont even know hwich plants you are using and why you put them next to each other. This is just a music video.
Nice 👍 flower plants 🌹🌹
Beautiful!
