Just proves the under appreciated brilliance of 90’s metal bands. An era that’ll never be duplicated in metal again.
90’s metal was so goddamn hot i dont think it’ll ever be topped. Just in that decade alone we Pantera, Tool, Rage Against The Machine, Korn, Rammstein, Linkin Park, Soulfly, Deftones, Primus, Incubus etc..... so many greats its hard to name em all really

TGSTK is favorite Pantera album and it's so under-rated, almost the forgotten album. It's so damn heavy.

I definitely agree with you. I think "Far Beyond Driven" is the best Pantera album. It reached number 1 on the billboard charts. First metal band to achieve that. But there first album, "Cowboys From Hell" all the way to there last album all kick ass! 🍻🍻🍻🤘

Also, I think there's no trail of his old band here, in his videos. So we can discard Vinnie Paul (his belly confirm this), Bostaph, Lombardo, Jordison, Duplantier, Igor, and much more.

I love the powerful way he plays. I really miss that performance in current metal drummers. I get the whole technical thing, specially when playing superfast while keeping stamina and avoiding injuries. Yet the body language is also part of the thrill of metal, that is what I get from drummers like Ulrich, Bostaph, Menza, Vinnie Paul and that kind of Thrash school from the 80's.

Nice one from a really good album. Floods or the titletrack would also be very good choises. Pantera is (was) a weird mix of a laid back groove and super tight fast playing. Demanding for all participants and especially the drummer who's keeping it all together. Nicely done 🖒🤘

Anyone else notice that some of the lyrics are missing? The lines "V.D. ecstasy, speed and horse" were left out as well as the huge "fuck" at the end of "You better not let the mohawked crowd see " was left out too.

Delta said he got the stems from youtube (sshhhh), which means the uploader got them from rockband.
And yes, for some reason (probably censorship) they chopped out some of the vocals.
But for Delta, it means he can drum without Vinnie’s original underneath.

There were a few things missing like guitar slides and some of the doubling so it could just be the stems. Besides, the vocals were recorded in two different tracks for this song. Example, the 1st and 3rd line of a verse would be recorded in one of the tracks, and the 2nd and 4th lines would be in the other. Almost like Ping-Pong. (Another example of Phil doing this is the 1st part of the verses for I’m Broken) My guess for this is because it would be basically impossible for Phil to do a whole verse in one take due to lack of breath, therefore that’s probably why the song was never played live, but Sandblasted Skin was.
Hope that makes sense and doesn’t make me seem like a know it all prick...
