For awhile I've thought it's Gil Sharone. He's endorsed by DW and Zildjian and dude definitely has the chops to cover everything uploaded to the channel. Remember he did play with Dillinger Escape Plan for a little bit...
I love Vinnie's drumming so much, he had perfect taste, amazing precision and the groove. Pantera helf the flag for heavy metal in the 90's, no question about it.If i had a time machine, sorry people of the world but i would use it to go back in time and see Pantera over and over again. :D
Pantera songs have a kind of natural swing, (even if it's not an actual swing rhythm). Humanity is blessed to have the recordings of this band, of these musicians at their best! And this is exactly why I like #Delta 's Pantera covers, you always deliver! And that FAT snare is a monster! \m/
I had the pleasure of seeing Pantera live 15 times! I met Vinnie Paul several times and dealt Blackjack and Craps to him! I even got to do crown shots with him after work! Great band and great people! RIP Dime and Vinnie! Excellent cover!!!

There's so many little skills and techniques that are required to be an awesome "groove metal" drummer or a great drummer for that matter. Vinnie had all those tricks up his sleeve🤘 great content!
@@richardshortridge4299 Cymbals are about £4000 on their own. Fixtures another £2500-3000. No idea what a pretty kit like that costs, but I don't imagine you'd get much change from £3500. No idea about mics, the laptop and electronics. £20000 seems about right?
Oh look another Delta Pantera video, I'll just see what JJJJJJJJJJEEESUS. That Snare sounds like a CANNON! It's like if I could somehow encapsullate a giant fireworks explosion and tight ass drum together! AND THOSE CYMBALS! There is a richness and depth there ESPECIALLY on the hi hat that feels like a multi course MEAL! and for Dessert? How about some NASTY kick drums that don't click, they WHUMP and feel like repeated punches to the stomach I can't defend against, but somehow, ENJOY!? WHAT THE CRAP DELTA!? And I completely neglected the toms which just, come on, it's like hearing that satisfying WHUMP you get from a throwing a big ass stone into a lake at the moment of impact. FFFFFFFFACK this is GREAT. Thanks as ALWAYS Delta! :D
I live in Shreveport la. The original line up had there first show ever here at the circle in the square. Was a place where bands would go and play. We are about three hrs from Dallas so pantera would play here all the time. Fun fact. Phil’s band samhain played here in Shreveport also. People at the circle would tell vinnie and dime about how a badass singer in another band needed to be in pantera. The contacted phil and the rest was history
