I do get excited about your old camp knife! I do believe that you will lovingly clean it to its former glory. I appreciate any old vintage knives and always do my best to restore them. I don’t have all the tools that the Knife Doctor has, however, I always do the best that I can with what I have. It brings me joy to do that. Very nice find, Harold! A camp/scout knife is a great knife to carry. Every kid should have one. Every adult could use one. The “stubby” is probably the can opener style for the time. The thumb stud is probably meant to brace on the lip of the can. Should clean up very well. Look forward to seeing the result. Have a great day!
