Yay I love this game! The character switching and item leaving can be confusing at first but you’ll get used to it.
Oh wow you went back to RE0! It has a special place in my heart as my first RE and I loved it. Unfortunately it's not one of the better received ones. Admittedly the main antagonist is a bit goofy but I really liked the main protagonists.
This is not an easy game in some places, but I still enjoy it, it's a fun game to me anyway, great to see you playing this.
OH YES! And I hope I catch that elusive livestream sometime, love your videos!

Gagh! There's a little mechanic going back to RE1 that you missed, which made you struggle way too much with the Scorpion: you can aim up and down to target different areas of the enemy. So for the Scorpion, you need to aim down when he's close, so you shoot his head -- remember that file you read earlier on? It gave you a hint that the Scorpion's weak point is his head carapace. Going back to RE1 Remake as well, when you used the shotgun in particular, aiming up at an approaching zombie would increase the likelihood of blowing their head clean off, preventing them from turning into Crimson Heads. c:
no spoilers friendly tip, pick up every items and then put them back on the floor, it will now show on your map! Its a good thing to batch you items in the same place . There is no item box soo find a way to organise your items at one place if possible. good luck this game is HARD lol, you got this! Dont get discouraged you will die often

RE0 is a solid RE game, that’s coming from someone who likes the action RE games more like RE5 and RE4, but RE0 is so good very underrated.

I just started this game for the first time to kick off the month of October. Making my way through the Training Facility now and YES, the reviews of this game have been spot on; it is noticeably harder than REmake... 🤬🤬 "WHERE ARE THE HEALTH ITEMS!!?"

Sam, I don’t know if you’ll see this in time for your part 4 or part 5 plays on Twitch.
However I noticed a couple of things on your part 3 on Twitch, first the map colors means absolutely nothing in this game, when you’re in a room the map is blue, when you leave a room, it turns green, doesn’t matter if there is an item there or not, it’ll be green, so it’s best to examine extra throughly, since you can’t rely on the map here.
Other tips from part 3, against those Leech Men you were scared of, Molotovs will kill those instantly (3) of them.
Finally in the room you used the lighter to get in that room, that had the two Zombies and one item, examine more closely again, there was an item you missed.
Great news once you get past the midway point of the game, I won’t tell where that is, but after that healing and ammo picks up by far in this game.
RE0 has little healing and ammo in the first 40% of the game imo.
Seeing this scorpion boss fight u really did things the hard way lol. U supposed to pick up that shotgun and kill it and every time u leave the room the enemy u didn’t kill but wasted bullets it resets its health back to full.
A better strategy is use the knife, one of the easiest bosses to do so.
Please tap the buttons repeatedly, whenever you're grabbed, otherwise you'll take more damage, especially with Rebecca.
I thought you were going to jump right into RE2. 0 is pretty fun.
I guessed you missed it, Sam said from the start of RE1 and a few times during it, that she was going to RE1, RE0, then RE2 and play in order of the storylines in the series.
Sam said she bought all possible RE games on Stream and is highly committed to playing all of them.
Sam also mentioned unfortunately the only RE game, that she won’t be able to play is Code Veronica, because that’s not available on Steam, nor she can’t afford to buy an X-Box or PlayStation to play just that one game.
Update: btw, I forgot to mention those last paragraph that Sam said, happened in her RE0 part 3 play on Twitch.
Anyhow she said at the end and her part 3 will be on RUclips, sometime within the next 2 weeks.

It's a prequel, but Resi 1 remake came out first as far as I know
