    Pierre, this was a great video. It was obviously done as a humorous vehicle for talking about being stuck in your creativity as a maker with the point of the video not being about the chair. Don't let the people complaining about the entire video being an ad for the saw get you down. I think you did a great job of integrating the talking point of the saw into the video and it was pretty clear that those aspects were part of the sponsorship deal, but they didn't detract from the video as the point was how to break through woodworkers block.
    Keep being creative and we need more Rave Pierre!

    Lol, soo much that I recognize here in this video. I tried survival in the Dutch woods, all by myself as well, but the thing is, there is always a supermarket about 2 kilometers away from you, and there are kids playing everywhere. The Netherlands are just not big enough. Seeing these kids and knowing mine were at home, alone with their mom, my wife, made me realize I had to go back home.

    It could be best to go away camping with your wife and the three children. Much more fun with company. You wouldnt get any woodwork done. But you would get plenty of ideas for making lightweight, foldable, packable camping things.
    It was only after several childhood years of family camping that I noticed other camping families didnt make their own equipment, it could also be bought in a shop.
    Staying some of the time in organized camping grounds made the trips more sociable with children and meant showers, and bins for rubbish, and playgrounds, sometimes even a cabin to sleep in.
    We travelled all about New Zealand's South Island, a different area each summer, often moving every one or two days, occasionally staying longer. But just settling into one good campsite for a week or two can be good.
    Desperately trying to find ideas doesnt always work, but still, at least you made a chair! (And took paint with you?)

    It's sad to see channels become successful to the point to allow it to be a full time thing and all of the sudden the whole channel turns into product reviews, doing entire videos just for product placement (like this one), or just doing stuff for the sake of putting out a video. The channel becomes unrecognisable from what made it successful in the first place. That's what's happening here, and while I'm glad it's working out for you, I'm definitely losing interest.

I say kudos to him for pushing the boundaries of his creativity and risking the criticism of people who just want the status quo. If you want just woodworking there are plenty of other channels that provide that.

      @janosszabo98 2 месяца назад

      @@schuylermontgomery3396 What's creative about not creating anything (don't start with the chair). If you're interested in Sweden, you can find much better content about just that.
