DUDE I just grabbed a shift at the LAST second! Luckily I worked 4 hours yesterday, so I have my 4 hours for the week incase I can't get anymore this week, but man, thanks a ton! Got my alarm set up for 6:12 everyday and reminder at 6:14. (Might switch them around) Thanks!
Man I’m having such issues getting Horus last week I got lucky and got 20 hours last week . Usually it’s 4-7 hrs , I sometimes work 2 hour shift for the day smh But I go to gym right after to not feel like is wasted so much time . I wanna work overtime but the people in my household said I can’t work overnight
My bro, let me ask you question, I have applied Amazon sorting job, warehouse, they call me on phone appointment interview, they told me 2:00pm to 9:00 Am work, so they did not sent me an email again whether they accept me or reject me
Thanks for sharing! I literally googled the position and found your videos. I accepted a locker associate position today here in NJ. I have my pre hire appointment on Monday. I'm a bit nervous after watching your videos. I'm hoping they have found a way to solve some of these issues.
Oh wow congratulations 🎊 hopefully the videos were informative. You will do fine don't be nervous you got this! It's a walk in the park trust me. Just be prepared to not take things personally when it comes to the customers and staff. Remember to treat others how you would expect to be treated.
Thanks! Yes I find them very informative. I think my location could be in the new Whole Foods that is opening up on Nov 8 here in Jersey City so thanks for even mentioning where some locations can be at. Yes I use to do retail so I know people can be be mean at times. Just need another side job right now. @@sonnysoncere
This is crazy. What's the point of hiring all these people just to have us scrambling for shifts that fill up in 0.001 seconds. Clearly they don't have a lack of workers.
I can't get shifts at all for this week. My cap is 20. Will I get written up or possibly fired for not working at all this week. I'm new to the company
Thanks Sonny!! I start training for the locker customer associate nov 2 and I am looking for a another location to work out of too get the opportunity to get more hours as I am capped at 19 flex. As of right now I am set to start a warehouse fullfillment associate position on oct 22 seasonal wed thru sat 7am to 530 pm. So as of right now I have 2 positions with Amazon. I may let go of the warehouse if it takes a toll on my mental and physical and try to find another customer associate location. My main source of income is flight attendant for an airline but I can drop my schedule and manipulate it(swap/trips). I cleared my schedule to take a break from flying jet lag is rough.
I have a question so u know when leave early they automatically take your UPT and marked red said attention on shift calendar right is it bad or just how it is ?? I was wondering like if it’s like have a lot red on shift calendar that will make you look bad or something ? I thought as long as I don’t go negative on personal time balances I got will be fine ?! Collect ?
Is it possible to start at two locker pluses at the same time or do I have to wait a certain a mount of days to start applying to different locker pluses ?
You can work at multiple Locker Pluses, but you may have to "earn your stripes" first at the one you start in until your fully trained to venture off somewhere else. I currently work 2 different locations, but I have coworkers that work at lease 5 different locations! Thanks for the comment, hope this helps!
I’m gonna start working at an Amazon locker + in a couple weeks and I’m wondering what’s the most hours you can get working here? how the hour cap? And do they reduce hour cap a lot?
The cap varies on your location and managers. You may cap out at 16 hours and then before the week is over your cap will be raised in order to allow extra hours for everyone. You may have a busy work week and the cap raises to 40 hours.. ppl may call off and your managers may increase your cap alone so you can grab someone else’s shift… it all depends
How long does it take to be fully trained? My friend accepted a position in a less desirable location hoping that once he knows everything he can choose shifts from a different place.
I would say it just depends on your friend. Everyone learns things at different paces. He could get it all down on day 1 or in two weeks, it all depends on his capabilities to take in knowledge and apply what he has learned. I got everything down on about 2 weeks cause you have to actually go through different scenarios and troubleshoot each one of them. Hope this helps
Yes for the orientation you will be trained on how to do your job. Afterwards you may pr may not receive a schedule from your supervisor just as a starter.
I'm having issues picking shifts, while watching this video I got an alert and for the first time I had a add shift option soon as I hit it and went to confirm it it immediately said the shift is no longer available,I can't express how frustrating this is because I need work desperately bad and am behind in bills,is there any other reason maybe I missed that could be causing me from being unable to grab shifts, all the shifts say full inside a 🚫sign,I'd appreciate it fully if you could help me thank you.
Hello! Sorry to hear that you were not able to secure that shift. The only thing I can say about that is that the competition is fierce. Make it a habit it constantly check your app now and then for dropped shifts. You can also keep your app open in the background for quicker access after notified. Best of luck!
@@sonnysoncere I'm not sure if this was the reason but there were a few training videos I wasn't aware of that I didn't do,soon as I finished I was able to grab two shifts for tomorrow,so maybe that's all it was, could unfinished online training courses be the reason?,thank you for responding.
Ya competition is fierce for real bro,I also learned that those with faster internet service plans have an advantage on picking shifts seconds before I even get notified,I've only been able to pick up 2 1/2 hour shifts that others dropped,it's alright to have if your already financial stable and are trying to stay busy I guess but being a father with bills stacking heavily this type of employment is not realistic,it makes zero sense to me that Jeff bazos an apparent family man with billions built from hard work and reportedly went through the same struggles would allow his company to be set up in such a way, where my Amazon warehouse building is at there not much business just yet and apparently as it grows they'll allow regular scheduling on top of flex,I got lucky and had another job call me,thank God if not I don't know what I was about to do,I never experienced such a struggle in finding work like this ever in my life, maybe it's related to the open boarders idk,hey thanks for the help and response,God bless you!
I guess it’s only at certain locations, but here in Salt Lake City, as of April 2023 they have a new rule (for Locker Associates anyways). If an employee is already scheduled for two shifts that week, they are no longer eligible to pick up a new shift until the following week. They are eligible to pick up additional shifts ONLY AFTER 9pm IF there are shifts available that weren’t picked up by those who were eligible. An additional tip: - 5 to 10 seconds before those shift drop keep on refreshing until you see the shifts available. No lie, I’ve been able to get the shift I want every single time. I find using a phone and not a computer is faster. Last tip may or may not go against Amazon policy - Before I started using the 5-10 second rule, I gave my sister my logins so that we both can be on the atoz at the same time when those shifts drop. I no longer need her to do this because of that tip I mentioned earlier.

Filtering shifts if you want to work day's is CRITICAL if you want a chance at them because they drop and go in seconds

This is horrible. My first day is feb 8th. Will i be able to work 40 hrs a week?
I usually get 4-7 last week I got 20 . I don’t work overnight btw if I did hitting 40 would be easy
Some people use bots or python to get Shifts on pc but idk how it works nor do I wanna do that
If u work overnight it shouldn’t be too hard the always need lots of people and it’s usually 7 hours or more shifts
Yes.

Do you know if you are able to transfer from a warehouse job to locker job through the a to z app ?
If you are a Blue badge and if a job is available on the app.
Are you still doing this position? it was cut down to two shifts a day when I was working there earlier this year.
No I am not. I left the position back around October last year
@@sonnysoncere dang, what made you leave?
Can you pick up shifts at different warehouse locations but for the same job?
This position is for wholefoods stores. It would depend on the locations in your area as well as supervisor approval
No!
I just got job offer today
You’re the man!
How do you add or delete locations filter in Amazon A to Z? I was expecting you talk about it.
pretty sure he did talk about it at around 14:40
Do you work alone at the locker
