Thanks to Mike Fitz, and all the Rangers for these videos. This has made my last summer, fall (and hopefully winter) so enjoyable. I’m a Bald Eagle fanatic and now call my self a Katmai Brown Bear fanatic too. If a miracle happens and I’m still alive this coming July, I will do everything in my power to get up there and experience this in real live time.
God Bless all of the humans and wildlife.

    Otis is no average bear.

When they consume fish it might help joint pain, Otis is a fine example for aging well, he probably remembers seeing the falls in his weakened state and that keeps him going.

Otis' head might be 4 times as big as in July. And not just from the fat bear champion trophies ;)

Bye Naomi, have a great winter!
Also: "Mike I'm a huge bear fan" is just the standard outro at this point 😀

115 is the younger version of 747. He is going to be gigantic in the coming years. He seems only minding his own business eating every bit of fish he has caught.
Ranger Naomi, thank you so much for all the hard work. I have learned so much from your talks. Good luck with your future adventures and hiking with your dog!:)

Grazier looks like him. When Otis was thin this summer, there is facial similarities between to Grazier and Otis.

Interesting. They may be similar in facial features- but boy they could not be more different in attitude. 😂.

Susan, I also see similarities between Grazer and Otis! Interesting. I never noticed that before. 🤔
