I did the same thing with Missy, i bought it instantly, i was experiancing the same thing however the waxy sunscreen floral note is actually becoming quite addicting to me and instantly reminds me of a hot summer day playing in the sun. I was hoping the pineapple / fruity notes would come through a bit more but i also for some reason find something very nostalgic to me so I kind of think i love it as well 😂

I have been curious about Missy and was about to buy it but some of the reviews (even ones with 5 stars) were basically that it’s ok but not exciting so I stopped myself. At this point I’m not wasting money on “ok”. Haha!

Turquatic doesn’t get enough love. You should try the other two MAC fragrances- Candy Yum Yum and Crème de Nude. I know you love Dolce & Gabanna “Dolce”, which is also a great one for spring.
I have Phlur Phloria and loved it at first sniff but as it sat on my skin, I found I was getting a beachy sun tan lotion scent. I wore it two days ago and it bothered me but I thought to myself it may not annoy me come summer. So I find it interesting the By Rosie Jane fragrance is giving you a similar vibe if i hear you right. Pretty summer time scent but one that I’m not ready for just yet.
Definitely wait on the Rosie Jane and give us an update if it changes. I hope it does for you but I completely agree about the unnecessary addition of white florals in some fragrances. When I smell tropical, I don't want to also be blasted with white florals. lol

JPG divine is a love or hate fragrance. I really like it though. It’s definitely a strong summer fragrance.

Girl I wore MAC Turquatic to bed last night!! I actually sprayed a different fragrance all over, and I only sprayed Turquatic one little spot on my wrist.. and that is the ONLY one I could smell! The gorgeous trail of it just kept giving me beautiful whiffs and I couldn't even smell the other scent that I sprayed all over me! 😂 It is one of my faves! 💚💙🩵

Ocean has to be one of the best perfumes out there. Signature for years even though I’ve been hoarding perfumes since I was old enough to reach my Aunt’s dresser coveredddd in bottles. No matter where I am people compliment it and ask for the name. People I know (even my mom who hates perfume) and strangers. Same thing with Dolce & Gabbana L’imperatrice. Crowd pleasers if you’re looking for that in a fruity floral, pretty, easy reach perfume.

😮my city in canada, turquatic is thr only one on display and sold at the bug department stores. In thr mac stire they had turq, thr brown creme bottle and thr pink bottle . I finalky bought turquatic, love it.

You should try Diptyque L’Eau Papier if you like rice notes, if you haven’t already! Technically there’s a sesame note, but similar vibes.

I smelled JPG Divine recently, and I was intrigued. I didn't smell patchouli, but sometimes you need more testing time to figure it out. I will test it some more for sure.

Yes!! At first I actually loved it and then each time I would spray it after that first initial spray, the white florals just got louder and louder and I got less of the coconut and pineapple 😭
Is missy similiar to the white florals in kayali utopia?😊
From my memory I remember utopia having a more powdery white floral and it was definitely smooth. Missy reminds me of straight up sunscreen, plastic floaties in a pool and very bright white florals. It isn’t a bad scent at all but I know it’s a scent I will get tired of very quickly because of how sharp the florals are. If the pineapple and coconut were more in the front for me, it would’ve been a magical summer scent 🥹 you have to love the sunscreen, pool, beach scent because it’s literally that. 😊

Yes, I’ve heard they throw away all returns unless the product is sealed. 🙁 most stores that sell cosmetics or fragrance throw them out when they are retuned.
