I put the video at 0.75x speed because it makes the song even slower and I LOVE the audio artifacts that get added. I think they're very appropriate for this kind of music.
In my headcannon, this is what you hear as you shop and walk around in Coconut Mall. The Piantas decided to take the mall's theme and speed it up when they learned the ol'Mario Kart competition of 06' was gonna take place there.

when the mall is closed and your looking around and theres nobody and theres an old wii making scary noises, so you touch it and find out it was playing mario kart and was in coconut mall. butnit was a little slow and you look behind you and you see a customer that says hello and walks around and says nothing so you keep checking the wii and you look back but the customer has dissapeared and you look behind you hes there. but you realise hes a mii and he says hello again then he keeps walking around saying “hello hello” and you get freaked out because of how he got in. the doors are locked. the windows are still fixed and not broken
