I would be thoughtful about your vehicle being so exposed to extreme magnetism, as the catalytic converter is quite sensitive to magnetic extremes. If your vehicle begins losing its electronic controls, it'd probably be best to not use that super magnet. Hey, just a thought for you to consider. It's your truck. I'm sure you will care for it.

Another scrapper did a video on it about $3 to $5 dollars so again it’s one of those things is it worth your time.
Also they are hard to get off without proper tools.
