TDS has a lot of mode for different strategy and quite challenging... The graphic is good to although the game is small when we in the match... While the TTD you just need to put down ur tower and ez no strategy...but kids nowadays like skibidi toilet.. thats why there is a lot of ppl playing TTD... Btw nice videosthx
The reason why you need a strategy in tds and not ttd is because: Tds has unique enemys, some are hidden, some are fast(Glitch), some are tanky(The Bosses), some stun towers (Vindicators), some go through units(Souls), some fly(Balloons), some are immune (Leads), some use RNG (Mystery), some break apart (Breakers), Some summon(Summoner) you get what I mean. And that forces the player to use different towers to combat that issue. Oh yeah I forgot to mention how a handfull of enemies have two of the above like fast and tanky (Tank) Mean while the only difficulty in ttd is high hp bosses. (Everyboss in a nutshell) I mean what type of special tower do you need to combat that minus a tower that has high dps?

In tds we have enemys that are invisible, stun, debuffs your tower firerate, defence, speeds up other enemies, summons enemies, heals other enemies with their remains, heals themselves, turn into other enemies, can shapeshift, break into a random enemy, break into smaller varients, fly, run through units, explodes on impact, with special shields, have a second life, overly fast, kills towers, attacks your base, blocks out all attacks temporarily, leads, stomps, heals others around them, and breaks out fleshlings when taking damage. If you want proof then name a few enemy varients and I will give you an enemy that does that.
I’ve played both games a good amount (well I’ve definitely played tds more) but I can say that ttd is definitely quantity over quality as they have updates every 1-2 weeks, ttd adds 1-3 units per update or an event. Although all of the units are very boring and basically the same unit, most of the mythic or higher rarity units basically do the same thing (deals big damage for high price). The gameplay is very slow usually taking about 40 mins per game without skipping. The endless mode is even more of a boring lasting up to 1.5 hours While in tds there is variety, the updates release in a faster time than ttd (weekly nowadays). TDS usually adds a polished and creative tower (or rebalances existing towers) with unique mechanics or a new gamemode/remade gamemode and maybe even some maps. TDS has much better balancing overall and is a much more fun game with more fast paced gameplay with matches lasting about 15-25 mins (other than hardcore).

I think we can't really compare TTD and TDS because TDS is a almost 5 year old project that is made to be good even after 5 years, while TTD is a trend game, which is made to collect ad much money until the trend dies.

Ive noticed that TTD is only popular because, well, it’s popular. Kids see that other kids play it and they play it also, RUclipsrs only play it because of money, not even because of the reason that the game exists. The List is obvious. I only clicked incase if this is some 7 year old complaining. (Ofc it isnt w) 1. Tds does need a restart button after a match instead of only a return to lobby option but its easy to get over with. 2. Well. The rest isnt even a question. TTD's graphics look worse than my laptop when its at 0.56 fps. Meanwhile TDS's Graphics are polished, smooth and reasonable. Tds also has REASONABLE sfx unlike ttds who uses pretty much 8 sfx and reuses them apon other towers. Great list btw, I agree

That's true, obviously it's not a hard nut to crack since TDS easily wins but I admit after playing TTD and being a little less biased,I can see a bit of potential if they decide to increase graphics and make it less pay to win while also balancing.It probably won't be as fun or good as TDS.But,right now.Whats got me hooked on it is the marketplace where it's actually useful for real life situations.So,the marketplace basically sells characters without any gambling though you will need gems and it's easy to get it since doing a few quests and playing for around 15 minutes can already get you 5-10 gens which is enough to get lengendarys and it teaches something good like stocks,investing and value.

@@Ace17352 I’ll agree with you here. Just to clarify that TDS is heavily inspired by Tower Battles. I don’t think a game should contain too much gambling as it may ruin the fun part of games if it contains too much luck-based content which may be unfair to other players. There was an EU meeting which involved in banning loot boxes and gambling things in video games as it may affect children. This may be banned in countries like Belgium but unfortunately it is not enforced and no one seems to care much about the situation about micro-transactions in video games as children might spend a lot of money on video games.
